After taking it on a road trip to a Mall, ill tell you this. My A4 Z28 with just a couple bolt ons was a 6-10 car length difference. It smoked it.
And my bro was driving the stang, and he knows how to drive.
At the IRP, they run mid to high 14's, with traps around 98mph.
(what ive seen)
LT1's are a few lengths faster on average. Stock for stock, mod for mod.
You got yourself a nice ride, the GT's are nice and quick, but up until 05', an LT1 will edge out a GT.
The fastest (5 Speed) GT would be a good race against the slowest LT1. (a4 Gu2)
The Fastest LT1 (M6 Ram Air) will murder the slowest GT (94-04 Auto).

Just cuz you've seen alot of bad drivers, doesn't mean that's what the car is capable of. Mid-high fourteens for a 99-04 GT 5spd is dispicable.

Well i watched a pro charged mustang GT at the track, and he couldn't break 13's . He was running 13.2's was the fastest he ran.

Just thought i would throw that in there.

Look you and kill stories have like zero post count here and pretty much just come here to troll through the benchracer forum. Youre inputs are really worthless to anyone here.

Dude my uncle has a 98 cobra procharged running 14psi. Couldnt break 13.30s. Imagine what he'd run without the procharger. I admit he was having some traction problems, but his trap speed is only around 106.

THANK YOU. jds... obviously, there's either something wrong with the car, or your uncle SUCKS at driving. Tell him to bring his car to TX, and I'll run some SOLID 12s with it . And brad, atleast I actually put input/information into the threads I participate in.

read ovewr some of my threads/posts in the tech forums, jackass.

You put nothing in, if you did you would have some posts in another forum other than the benchracer forum. You are here to troll/benchrace, thats that. And what info do you put in? The only thing you put in is "well this car should run this, or it must have a bad driver, or if it had this it would win, my friends brothers moms car does this".... ya get the point. You probably dont even drive a sport/muscle car anyway. :

First car was a '94 Vette, and I've had a lightly-modded '98 GT, and currently have a bolt-on '01 GT with a few suspension mods. Big fan of the LS1 F-bodies (wanted an 01-02 WS6 6spd), but I'm not gonna sit here and do nothing but praise them. Every car has it's limits and shortcomings. You have to have people on forums that have different perspectives and points of view, or else the whole thing goes to ****. And hey... I have 5 other posts .
