Default Raced a Trailblazer SS

we went from 40 to 70 three times everytime i had 1.5 cars on him. My clutch is fucked and was slipping the entire time it would not even grip in third. He was very surprised being as i drive a cobalt ss/sc. We pulled over and talked for a few he had a intake, hpt tune, and some heatshield thing. Said he ran 13.40's at the track with a 1.9 short time it was a awd one ,blue and clean. He was a nice guy we went our seperate ways after giving each other props on cars.

yah if you ever have seen the SRT-8 jeep it looks the same way..like the front wants to come off the ground. Its cause From a launch more of the power goes to the back wheels then the front but the front still helps pull it along. Not sure what the system is called tho

They've came in 2wd since they came out as 06's, my friend bought the first one around here and its a 2wd, which are usually a little faster than the awd stock for stock.

What mods do you have to pull a 13.4 ET by 1.5 cars in only 30mph? Thats a pretty short race.

Yeah thats what I was going to ask. I know a guy who has a ss cobalt, and personally I wasn't impressed. He put a smaller pully and intake, that helped alot. but stock was nothing. Hell even now he's always running his mouth saying how my WS6 would loose to him. I just laugh

2.5 pulley, 60# injectors, hp tuning, different air filter with the bottom of the box left off thats it as far as performance. For traction i have tranny mounts and control arm bushings. And in my room i have a dual pass intercooler end plate, another heat exchanger, a wideband, a stage 4 clutch and thats about it spring time will be good. Im pretty well modded

Have you ran at the track yet? Or any HP numbers? Ive yet to run a modded Cobalt yet but the stock one at the track was running low 14's.
