240 lbs for a convertible top, damn that is a lot of heavy mechanicals for a powered top.

4,800 lbs, now that is a lot of chasis stiffeners, cast iron BB swap, two NO2 tanks, S/C AND Turbocharger parts...

Two seperate fuel tanks, one for street legal driving and one for track driving (93 oct and 100 oct).

...a very fat driver...

Now that might make it 4,800 lbs.

Oh yeah, a trailer hitch, a parachute, a full sized spare tire (despite run-flats), a fat wife sitting next to you.

Throw in a fire extinguisher.... Okay I'll stop.

LOL, the problem is even if you edit your posts the quotes still say 4,800.

That was a really close race, Mach 1's sound really good to i havnt seen a race that good to because most of them have 03-04cobra's and stuff majority of them winning. Havent seen this tho very very respectable death

Yeah well it isn't as bad as some of the ones I have had.

I actually got almost a 2 page list of flames once when someone thought I insulted a 800 hp Evo that beat a C6 Z06.

When I went back to the thread and realized what happened and tried to correct the situation apparently everyone thought I was either "changing my story" or "insulting the Evo" even more.

Another half page of flaming before I decided to just quit and unsubscribe from the thread.

Umm no. Im also in the 12 sec club with my NON Z06 corvette, which ran a 12.9, and would get beat by a C5 Z06. And sorry but C5z's are not high 11's off the show room floor. The NEW C6 Z06 runs a 11.7 bone stock off the show room floor, maybe thats what your thinking about.

Fastest stock time so far for a C6Z06 is 11.3, if I'm not mistaken. And Ranger ran an 11.7 in a C5Z06, I do believe

11.3 with a drag radial, but street tires off the show rrom floor i beileve is a 11.5.

^^ correct Ranger ran 10.85s @ 129.xx on Nothing but Drag Radials. he ran 11.31 @ 127.xx Show room stock. He even ran 11.77 in his c5 z06 @ I believe 116mph/.

k member, aluminum heads, and aluminum driveshaft would net me. over 100 pounds of weight loss.I didnt even begin to touch the things I could If I was competitively racing. Give me a week and a lil money and I will have my raceweight to 2950 with driver....

wait I am 20 pounds heavier now. 2970. Mustangs weight is overated. My car was 3180 stock.
