I don't know what the GT500 dyno's at off the showroom floor but I have seen 2 dyno at 500rwhp with just a tune but its still not a formidable opponent for the new Z06. For the money I would take the Z06 anyday but then again I don't like mustangs.

I don't think an NA LS1 is a good match for a Shelby at all. Mod for mod, that thing has a lot more potential. It starts with more power, and mod for mod will wind up with more power.Weight aside... Street rolls aint the place to beat em, trap speeds are pretty hot on those things factory. Traction being a non issue, they are capable of a mid 12 from the showroom floor.
Fellas, the Ell Ess Juan is getting old. Might have to let this round go to the Ford boys. I get my chuckles over the fact they couldnt do it NA, and the years of abuse the Fbody piled on the poor Stang.

Do you think you could get it to hit 230mph? I just thing after 200mph, the f-body is going to have a hard time with it's aerodynamics.
What kind of numbers do you put down? How much boost?

Your STS Camaro is f-ing sick!
The Z06 is about 5-600lbs LIGHTER then a GT500. Even the Mustang guys will say that a 500rwhp GT500 doesn't stand a chance against a stock Z06. Weight to horsepower ratio.

I was so disappointed when I saw the 1st road test with the GT500's what the hell high 12's maybe if your lucky mid 12's the damn SC cobra's it replaced ran that well. **** I've seen people in nearly stock mach 1's run 12.7.
