Well, we ran them, both cars in 3rd at 50. the first race, he did a ricer flyby, lol. Put about 4 cars on me before I halted his pull. The second race he said he didnt hear my honking...(the 5.0 IS loud inside). He said I put 1.5 cars on him before he floored it. I ended up at 110ish with about 5 cars on him. He said if we had nailed it AT THE SAME TIME! I would have had about 2.5 cars on him by 100 (from 50).
Had I been in 2nd the victory would have been by a larger margin im sure b/c at 50 in 3rd the WS6 was only turning 3K.

I put it in 2nd at 50 on the way home and floored it HOooooly crap...low-trac light. Yeah, It would have been UGLY had I been in 2nd. However, I proved the point and I am happy w/it.

The 5.0 was at 4K, about 500rpm above peak tq. My WS6 was about 1000rpm BELOW its peak tq. I was giving advantage to the 5.0 and I guess its fair b/c I jumped him he says (I did, he couldnt hear the horn apparently). So I guess the gear selection made up for the jump. Either way the WS6>5.0

My 5.0 is a fluke, lol. It ran a best of 14.4 It traps around 98.54.
HOWEVER! I ran side-by side with a SRT10 single-cab from 75-105.
I beat an auto GT by 1 to 1.5 cars each time from 70 to the top of 4th (05+ GT) and I gave it the hit each time.
I also lost by about 2.5 cars to a stock lightning but by 6K I had stopped his pull, just poor gear selection. I woulda lost by maybe 1 car or so had I gone 1 gear lower.
My 5.0 is okay from a roll.
Yes, its **** weak for its mods. I have no idea why. I still bet its mid 13's on slicks. my 14.4 was on a 2.15 60' with my vacuum carb that bogged.
