HOWEVER! I ran side-by side with a SRT10 single-cab from 75-105.
I beat an auto GT by 1 to 1.5 cars each time from 70 to the top of 4th (05+ GT) and I gave it the hit each time.
I also lost by about 2.5 cars to a stock lightning but by 6K I had stopped his pull, just poor gear selection. I woulda lost by maybe 1 car or so had I gone 1 gear lower.

My 5.0 is okay from a roll.

Yes, its **** weak for its mods. I have no idea why. I still bet its mid 13's on slicks. my 14.4 was on a 2.15 60' with my vacuum carb that bogged.
And what did it run with the mechanical secondary carb??? If I recall it was a slower time with a faster et. Either way the carb had zero to do with the slowness of your car lol. Thumbs up for the win although you are king of the wrong gear roll races. Next week maybe you can post up another race...WS6 vs s10. All in fun winner buys lunch.

Pffft...since when did theft become "fun"? I concede the victory

Speaking of carb swaps and "lunch" *caugh* 750DP *caugh*

Yes, but I JUST! looked at that timeslip (to prove to someone that Supras are dyno-queens, as I had a Supra run me...13.2X@110.X ) and my 60' was a HORRID! 2.344 with a 14.62 compared to a 2.15 and a 14.44 with the other carb. I would say the carb helped a good bit. I just needed tires and some track-time under my belt.

EDIT: the mechanical carb is a LOT more driveable (less bogging by far!). I trapped 97.8X vs. 98.54 with it.

PS. I will JUST! have gotten it all back in running order. I wish to coddle it some.

Just proves the point that the vacuum carb lets you get off the line better than the mechanical I guess. Trap speeds dont lie and I dont think it was more than a 1 mph change between the two carbs. Either way lunch to the winner....yay for me ( I hope).

Eh, the vacuum carb bogged really bad. I dumped the clutch and floored it off idle (literally) for that 2.15.

He knows the lunch comment was a complete joke. It would be all in fun. But, I should have said a tank of gas but the price of super is getting up there and I dont want to risk actually losing since his tank is much bigger than my fuel cell lol.
