03 Whipple'd Cobra vs RC51 StreetBike
Well this past weekend we went out to hang out and a friend of ours had his buddy come out with his RC51 so we could get some runs on the freeway. I should have started in 2nd but I was in 3rd. The bike pulled me pretty good but once we got into 5th I was reeling him in pretty good and would have flew by him but he braked as I was getting ready to pass him. Then I ran my wife in her Z06 and my buddy in his STi and my last race for the night was from a dig vs my buddies STi, lol that was a joke, we went further than a 1/4 mile, I had no traction whatsoever. I need to run full slicks when I start going out It was a pretty cool night and we got some good runs in before a lady came out and threatened to call the cops

Forgot to mention i raced a Charger SRT8 too that night, we didnt get it on vid, but we do have vid of my wife racing him in her Z06, she pulled him pretty good. It wasnt really a race between us, we took off in 2nd and I put about 4-5 cars on him fast then let off.

Sweet vid man. Great races and good kills. Your car is bad ***!!! I used to have an RC51 I know they are good for 175mph not sure what happened at the end of that race maybe felt had already won?
Yeah you might need to work on your launch

Your wife has a fast car, and she races?.... She got a sister?... Lol. JP. Good runs though.

Yeah not really the launch I just need to start in the right gear, the guy on the bike told me he knew if we had kept going I was going to fly by him, and no my wife has a brother unless your into that sort of thing As for the guy jumping out of the way that road was pretty narrow and he almost got hit few times, so he decided to step back and jump out of the way

My 01 R6 was capable of beating a RC51. They're not that fast (comparing apples with apples). Cars VS bikes are awesome videos, my favorite on type on the net....especially when the car wins.
1,000cc VTwin runs an 11.1 at 125 with a professional rider vs 01 R6 (599cc) running 10.75 (w/ professional rider)
Good kills - sounds like you have a very cool "better-half"!!

R6 is def. a powerhouse thru the 1/4 no doubt due to its light weight (why Honda put 2 radiators on that bike is beyond me), but apples to apples: at speeds over 125 the 1000cc is going to dominate. Topspeed RC51-170mph Topspeed R6-160mph.

I thought the RC51's were insanely fast, until I rode one (in town...but I hit speeds around 85 (in a 45)). I wasn't impressed.

Hey now! Be nice to the RC51. It's damn quick in it's own right. I have had mine in the high 10s at just a hair under 130 here. It's only been down the 1/4 a few times because it spends most of it's time on the road course. That's where it loves to be. Yeah a 600 will outrun it down low most of the time, but as the speeds increase the big twin will come around them due to more horsepower. A good friend of mine has the brand new R6 and it's quick til about 100-110 and then at about the top of my 4th gear going into 5th the pulling commences. Good runs to the OP! Whippled Cobra will for sure pull up high as the RCs hard pull starts to taper off at around 140-145. Nice to see the RC give you hell though.
