spraying your leased car to mid 11's isn't impressive..

I'd be hoping for high 10's with a few more mods.

and I'm confident I could pull a low/mid 13 no problem, maybe even a high 12.. i know my car pretty well now. but whatever.. you're gonna break down my post either way.

See...that's the difference between babblers like yourself and
guys like me. You "hope" for things and we do it.

You "could" pull a low 13 huh? You know they run that stock right?

Get your final comments in now. I'll close this so you don't get further
embarrassed.

Nope...you're in the 13's until you run the number. Post a 12 second slip or
you're in the 13's.

Are you tired of getting owned yet?

I like how I made this post, go to sleep, school and work, come back and it's blown the **** up lol. I don't want this to be a GM><Ford battle. Was never intended. I love both cars, and please these these arguments for the other threads. This is about this race, thoughts, comments, tell me to learn to drive better, w/e. But thanks all for the input.

My parents work up on Ft. Huachuca, I'm still in highschool lol. Yea, Speedway is still the hotspot for all the racing. I left Tucson at about 10:30, and my friend was telling me thats when everyone started to race. His brother's Ion redline stage 2, a couple 'stangs, Camaros here and there. I wish i could've stayed, but I had to get home and crash lol.

wow, I thought mine was slow. I got in the 12's with no blower and no nitrous, and less than 300 rwhp. But those sticky tires sure do help. I think he needs to tighten the nut behind the steering wheel up. Best mod you can do......................or plan to do

I don't want sticky tires untill I either beef up the rear end, or just ditch it completely and get a 9" or s60 with 4.10 gears. I'm to afraid of breaking **** on my "daily driver" (have a ranger, hate driving it lol).

Thats what im thinking. How much torque, and how much abuse can 31 spline handle? And what are in our cars stock. Strange has s60 rear ends with disc brakes, and 40 spline for 3k, but thats a lil steep, and possibly a bit overkill...

31 spline can take a beating. All last year I was leaving the line at 7,000rpms off the rev limiter in my blown Cobra that made about 570ish rwhp then. The rear end never acted like it was even trying hard. This year I'm going with a 31 spline light weigh mini spool, light weight axles, and light weight gears. That alone will pick up the car some I'd say. If not it will atleast make me feel better. lol

what about the mach1 stock for stock mod for mod with an ls1 f-bod its a drivers race. good death to the o/p throw some n2o in it and run em again. i have also owned both and im sorry but the cobra is a much nicer all around car than my 02 z28. not to mention a hell of alot faster, minus th n20 in the camaro. but still this argument is kinda dumb.

...and LS1.com gave us all the rejects, such as yourself.
We've already proven that though haven't we.

Shoot me a PM if you ever get to a track to actually race.
a fitting comment for a Ford owner on an ls1 web site in the street racing section.

No, I'm the ls1 owner building my car. You're the moderator with a Cobra.

God, I hope a new car is worth more than my camaro...I have approximately 4600 dollars in it - from the purchase price (500) to the entire engine swap I did last year (3,000) to everything in between.

I'm pretty sure my new minivan is worth more than your maxima though

Let the "Mr. Soccer-Mom" jokes begin. All I have to say in my defense, is it's much more family orientated than my 04 crew cab silverado was.

Finite1 - you completely missed my point....
