BAD night
out racing with some friends and then bam cop shows i floor it all the way and i got away from the cop but like twenty minutes later at my house knock knock knock. Damn cops at my house. I get arrested and get tickets for trespassing, careless and imprudent driving, and failure to yield an emergency vehicle. I go to the county jail and all of this, finger print scan mug shots everything. The question i have is when he put the cuffs on me and said you are under arrest he did not read me my Miranda Rights. I did not hear those words at all that night. Do you think that really matters that he did not read them to me.
You don't have to be read your rights until you are FORMERLY questioned. A cop can question you and etc, but untill you are formerly questioned you do not have to hear your rights.
How did he catch you? Guessing a tag? Easy to deny if you weren't stopped at the scene, unless you admitted.

no it doesnt matter. im a cop in new hampshire and reading your rights would come into effect if i wanted to sit u down and question u after i arrested u. you were there not me so i cant say what happened was right or wrong. but if u talked about what happened with him and u admitted being there/doing it then he arrested u then he did not do anything wrong. its cheaper to just stop, be polite and try and get a break, or out of it all together. some cops have these cars to
. most people are rude so being nice when u mess up will sometimes get u a long way.

For the most part until given your rights you may not ask for counsel and what flys out your mouth can be used against you if done voluntarily. But if you are read your miranda rights, at that moment you can assert your right to counsel, anything that comes out of your mouth after that without counsel present, cannot be used against you. There's a little more to it but that is the big part. It's good cop work to hold off, nothing illegal there.

Doesn't matter how fast your car is, cops have radios...02HawkTA nailed it. (I'm SF in the AF
