Evo Kills Himself.
I start laughing so hard. and continue to drive normal with the rest of traffic. He finally gets it started and catches up to me and says that his starter is bad
. I say ok and he quickly does a u turn at the next light instead of racing me again. I just kept lauhging the rest of my drive, for that was the easiest Kill I have ever had. Sorry for the long story, I just like to give details so no one is confused.
What does a bad starter have anything to do with stalling the car in the first place
Maybe he thought the race was supposed to be from a unstarted car.
Stupid ricers.Good kill!!!

Stalled autos can be nasty off the line, just powerbrake it up and let 'er rip!!

Obviously your VERY unaware of the fact that those cars COME FACTORY with a 2 Step built in, not many people even know how to use it. The typical V8 owner would mistake it for being him "Bouncing off the limiter like an idiot".
By that point, your probally screwed if your not making more power or dont know how to launch
Those cars do one thing when the 2 step is used correctly, and thats FLY out of the hole. I suggest you be careful with the EVOs you mess with, where im from, every single one is in the 11s, and no, they dont break parts like we think they would beacuse of the AWD. Its scary what theyve done with those things.

They NEVER break
I don't know who your trying to fool, but you're only fooling yourself.
2 step?? Yea, thats great. I prefer to launch my car without some retarded *** launch control garbage. Its called skill, torque, and RWD.
I've seen Evos launch with that stupid system, and I've seen them get ripped out of the hole by stalled autos with slicks. Its nothing special, just another way to break your fragile AWD drivetrain.

BTW, if you ever intend to own a turbo car in your life (who doesnt?) you will probally eat those words about "the retarted *** launch control garbage" since a 2 step is how most of the turbo cars out there break such high numbers despite no low end tq. by you not knowing the UNIVERSAL (both import and domestic) use of a 2 step and thinking its "ricer device" shows how close minded you are on not only imports, but a turbo car all together.
Fragile AWD drivetrain? and your 7.5 is any better? my cobras IRS is any better? they are if you upgrade. I know of more evos in the 11s and 10s on stock drive trains beacuse like you even said, a WELL launched AWD car doesnt need to bounce off the rev limiter or launch high if it HAS A TWO STEP IN IT TO BUILD BOOST OFF THE LINE. Evos are pretty nasty in the hands of a TRUE DSM owner beacuse they donbt care about looks or much else besides running nines and looking stock. DSM owners kinda scare me a bit when you see their serious, for example, the same guy that owsn that evo i always speak of, owns a nine second DSM of some sorts as well.
Its VERY easy to make an evo fast on a budget if you know all the tricks.
The way some people post on this forum i wonder who REALLY goes to street racing spots, and who just has the occasional highway encounter and has some buddies with fast cars. cause were i go, ANY damn car is usally in the 11s in most cases.
