Little run with 03 Cobra who claimed 700Hp
Well to make a long story short, I ran a guy last night who calimed 700hp on his built 03 cobra. He pulled one of my buddies right before I raced him who has an 02 WS.6 with full bolt'ons, 4.10's, and 150 shot, while he was spraying so I was next up on the list. We went from a 35 kick in 2nd and I spun a little when the Nitrous hit but this was my first race with the new progressive controller which I have to say, works awesome! After the spinning we stayed neck and neck until the end of 4th gear around 110-125 (wasn't looking down) where I had around a fender on him. It was damn close, but you know what Vin Desiel says: winning is winning! I had no clutch left for 5th gear so it wouldn't go in at all, the clutch was sticking to the floor at then end of 4th! I need new one pretty badly now. I would really like to know how much HP his car had now that I barley pulled him but I can promise him that it wasn't anywhere near his claimed 700hp at the wheels. All he would tell me is "Its a Built 03 Cobra." It sure was fast though, and made for a really good race. Maybe he will pop up on here and say whats really done to it.

A 700rwhp Cobra should trap 140mph. There aren't too many cars on the road
that can hang with that. With decent traction, a 600rwhp Cobra is good for roughly
10.75 - 10.99 @ 132 - 134mph....just for reference.
Nice job on walking his ***. Sounds to me like he needs to step into reality
and stop reading magazines.

Wish I had a video, and I didn't kill him by any means. It was neck and neck to the end when I put a fender on him. I raced with bottle pressure only at 750psi and with the headlights up, which I never do at night simply because it feels like they catch a lot of wind. If I would have waited till around 950-1050psi it would have been a stronger hit of nitrous and I might have squeezed out close to a car length. He did have 2 passengers with him and I had only one with me.(for the record)
and the cobra was Black, not silver.

turns out this is the same Cobra that Robbie raced a month or so ago. So it was a whipple cobra, I guess on or around 15lbs. Probably a few supporting mods as well.

Dude needs to turn up the boost. Good runs though. Actual rwhp at 15lbs is closer to 550-560 though. NO-where near 700, not even 600.
