The reason I bought mine over an F-body was the fact that the car was a cream puff. It was a 40k miles 99 Cobra white/tan convertible. It was bought at my dealer new and serviced there its whole life. It was clean enough to eat off and I got it for a song. There is no way I could have driven an F-body as hard and as a DD and put as many miles on it and sold it for what I sold my Cobra for. Plus I am married and my wife did not like driving the F-bodies we test drove but she loved the Cobra.
Ride and Handling wise, the Cobra just flat out drove better with the IRS. Plus the fact that its by far one of the few cars that drives right up to and over the limit so benignly.
And this part is overlooked but the way a Cobra sounds with Bassani LT's, X pipe and Borla Race catback is something that makes even the most jaded drivers give you the thumbs up. Muscle car sound at idle and low rpm under load and exotic car sound at redline.

Then the cobras you ran were running REALLY shitty. I have never trapped less than 100 in my bone stock 97 Cobra.

Yeah it was a pretty amazing handling car, for what is basically a Ford Fairmont in drag
And I mod everything I drive so I knew when I was done it would be a faster car than stock.

I hate those rims. My cousins 96 looked just like that when he bought it. Luckily he was able to find some Cobra R's for damn cheap since my other friend had just totaled his 95 Cobra. Either way, your Camaro in your sig looks way better. I love the ZR-1 rims on Camaros. It's kinda makin me want to get another Camaro instead of a T/A.

My Cobra was alot of fun I had 275's all around and even now having a C5 I still loved the handling of that car. I haven't even began to get comfortable enough with the C5 to grab it by the scruff of the neck like I did that Cobra.
Most freeway onramps were taken like I was in Tokyo drift in that car!

his front bumper was basically at my rear bumper. It was a solid race, and there were many parts to argue about why he lost.
