Even if he sucked riding at 50mph in any gear a new 1000 would leave you in the dust. I own one (k6). You could put a 300 shot on your car and you still wouldn't be close to what a new Gixxer 1k can do (especially from a 50mph roll with the bike stretched). Mine is just lowered and at 50mph I can keep it down and the bike feels like it wants to rip your arms from your shoulders. Maybe you ran into a carbed one.

I would take that bet in a heart beat and eat your bike like a candy bar.

Honestly, bannings should come along for people doing the "you shouldnt have won, you willl not beat this or that, you are not fast enough".

Does it make you feel smarter or like a bigger person knowing soem facts about what should or could have happened?

STFU, it ruins the thread for everybody else. Nobody wants to hear you cowshit reasons why he should've lost, he didn't, end of story.

I wish I was a mod.

Man you are way too confident about things, a length head start.

Blind confidence is not very smart.

From my bike racing experience... I have all mods below and a 200 shot on top of that. So you have to say around 600 rwhp+ and 700 rwtq+ I have raced several bikes from a roll and only ones I can beat are 600's. I have been an 05 gsxr 600 and a 04 yamaha r6. I raced a 05 gsx-r 750 from a roll of 45 and he pulled me by like 4 cars or so to about 140. To hang with a 1k with a good driver is amazing.... you have to have like 800-900 rwhp most likely. A good driver on a 600 can run around a 6.9 or so 1/8th mile @ 115 + mph

But usually the average bike rider can't f-ing ride!! There are definately some who can. Being as they are fairly inexpensive(versus a car) younger people can more readily afford them, and not all of them can drive---read:scared of the bike. When I ran my cobra at the track a few months back, my only run of the night was against a new zx-14. I had NO delusions about beating this bad ****. It had aftermarket pipe, extended swingarm, power commander, air shifter, chrome rims and custom paint(I know these don't make it any faster but it shows the money he had in the bike). I was in the pits next to him and even helped him strap the front of the bike down. When we raced, my mph was 132, and his was 139!! WTF. Talk about not being able to drive. He won, but damn, only by 5tenths and 7mph. I've seen Kawasakis test driver take one with less mods to 9 teens at 161. On a bike, most definately, driver skill is the most important aspect. By the way---NICE KILL!!!!

You say that like its impossible to have. I will agree its not the norm though. There are REALLY fast street cars, especially in the south.

A friend of mines Honda only lost one race on the highway and it was to a sprayed Hayabusa, he said it was close though.

No I just know what I am capable of beating and I doubt he has more than it. But I'm willing to find out.

Being fast on a bike is like being able to throw a ball far. Being fast in a car is like being able to hit a ball far while its thrown at you going 95mph. Much much much harder.
