Mustang GT is god!
Just to add fuel to the fire....
Last trip to Gainesville raceway I watched and ran against a 3v GT. He stated his mods were only full bolt on's, tune, and drag radials. His best time that day was a 12.4 and I don't remember at what mph.
For reference I have an ls6 intake, lid, catback, and 3500 stall on street tires. The best time I ran that day was a 12.6@106. He was cutting 1.7's on his 60'. I was cutting 1.8's on my 60'. I know it's not a 2v GT, but, like I said, just adding fuel to the fire.

That thread is why mustang owners get a bad rap. I have a lot of respect for the mustang, but it does seem that a lot of douches flock to them. I guess that could be said about a lot of cars though.

every car fan base has morons/douche bags. i know there are plenty fast mustangs out there and i love racing 03/04 cobras win or lose.
but it seems there is alot of mustang guys in the dfw area that are in denial or clueless. i have a friend who knew that he couldnt beat most camaros/ta's with his gt. he decided to buy either a cobra or mach 1. i tried to convince him to buy the cobra but he said he found to good of a deal on the mach to pass up. one day he was telling me about some of the races he has had in his mach 1 vs gt's. he had raced a guy with pretty much a full bolt on gt and beat the guy and it was the closest race he had. he beat the guy by 2-3 cars. he told me he never knew that regular gt's were that slow. i told him you know how faster your mach 1 is over the gt's? and he said ya. i said that is how much faster a cobra is over your mach 1. he just said he believed me and it was all sinking in to him that night lol.
i work in irving and its right on a fairly busy road. i have never seen so many mustangs in one place. all day everyday mustang after mustang going down irving blvd to loop 12.

It's just like a member from LS1 tech going over to mustangforums and talking **** about how he doesn't like the members of LS1 tech for their uneducated posts. I just don't get it. It's like gossip. WTF??...Gossiping is for girls. IMO, If the members are that bothersome, just don't post there anymore. Or atleast try your best to correct and educate them on something they obviously don't know about. Honestly though its pretty funny if you go to other forums and look at their kill sections. I have been on some srt-4 forums and 350z forums as a couple of my buddies have those cars and they send me funny **** about their kills section all the time. Like some of the garbage that is made up is absurd. Turboback and cai srt-4's beating c5z06's or c6's, or stock 350z's beating gt500's, c6's, etc...its pretty rediculous.
