Mustang GT is god!
Some of you are probably laughing terribly hard right now. And i cant blame you. Others are probably wondering why i would post this, its because i cant stand the "kill storys" section of the Mustang sites anymore. When you try to call BS on them they get defensive about it. I love comming in here and reading youre Kill storys and thats really the only place i go in here besides just reading and learning. But these 2v' GT guys are probably the dumbest around. They are here talking about how their slightly modded bolt on GT's can take down GT500s!

Keep up the good posts, i like the videos the best.

Never been on that site. WOW. The dumbass disease is spreading rapidly on that site. Bolt-on 2v GT with 4.10s can take a GT500...
Another reason I'm here. Most guys here don't have such terrible cases of rectal-cranial inversion.

1) This is now the second thread you've made talking about how dumb Mustang owners are on another site... not sure why you're doing that.
2) A new GT with FULL bolt-ons, a good tune, 4.10s or 4.30s, and DRs could most certainly hang with the average GT500 in a straightline. If not the 1/4, then definitely the 1/8. It's gonna trap quite a bit lower, but trapspeed doesn't win dragraces.

You're in denial, Irun. I know a bunch about mustangs and even you have to admit that the thread this guy posted is full of some pretty ignorant mustang owners. They strike me as being in their own little fantasy world.
A NEW GT is not a 2v GT. Big difference on how they respond to mods. Those 2v stock heads suck terribly (I'm sure you know).

One guy says that it would only take bolt-ons and 4.10s for A GT to run with a GT500. I'm assuming he means on a dragstrip, and he never specified the year he was talking about. And then another guy (with a 2v) calls out the guy with the stock GT500, on the basis that he doesn't think he can drive very well.

NOw 1/4 miles times. Let's talk apples to apples here. Street tires or both drs. Because dr's on a bone stock gt500 runs low 12s. someone just posted it. Bone stock car it ran 12.4s which is about 1/2 second (.5) faster than the 03-04 cobra on average. No way a gt with full bolt ons, 4.10s and drs will run low 12s.

I went back and checked out that site. Some of it seems pretty decent. If I joined there, I'd have 2 of the 5 quickest 1/4 mi cars according to the top E.T.s posted though...

I've seen neons beat vipers in the 1/8. Absolutely means nothing to me or many people on this site.
IF your talking 1/8 mile, what's the point. I guess since you don't have anywhere else to go, rofl. The 1/8 is nothing more than suspension, gear and traction in my opinion. Basically, putting down the power you have.

I dont know i came here because i have a secret love affair to the LS1 motor, just cant find a decent one around where i live. So for now the mustang does its job. I work at a dealership so parts come cheap. I like reading about what f-body people say about pony people and vise-versa. Call me a weirdo ?
