Default Absolutely OWNED a cocky LS1 on the highway

On the way home I'm cruising down the highway about an hour ago (11pm) and I see a set of aftermarket blue HIDs with fogs get on an on-ramp that I just passed. I start wondering what it could be thinking at first "maybe its a C6" then Viper crossed into my mind because it looked to sit LOW. So I slow to the speed limit and switch to the slow lane to let the car catch up. Looking at it in the rearview I saw where the fogs were and it looked to be a T/A with white running lights. I then saw that they wern't pop ups and that it was a LS1 Camaro with fogs on. He sees me and fastly pulls up along side me and revs at me as we go under a bridge then the passenger rolls down the window half way and pats the roof. I look over to see a pewter LS1 camaro with chrome "SLP" emblems where Z28 goes. I also notice a set of A-pillar gauges and then I think I might be in trouble because the bottle is at the house. I still down shift into 4th and then into 3rd and give him alittle pull to show him I'm game. I shift up out of 3rd but keep it in 4th. He jumps along side me and I downshift back into 3rd at about 65mph and he guns it as do I. I instantly pull about 2 carlengths on him through 3rd and about 2 more in 4th before I had to slam on brakes because of the car in front of me. He gets back next to me and I crack my window and pat my roof as he's pulling along side me. He didn't try to go again so I guess the point was made! Gotta love having a light weight car with some decent power.

Nice kill. Seems like whenever I get in a GOOD race and an exciting matchup, I have my 300 lb friend riding shotgun.

Damn those cocky LS1 guys, what a bunch of #$#$#...whoops, forgot I was logged in here, and not gaymustangs.com
JP with ya - nice kill. Nobody has the right to be cocky (although I get caught up in it also) unless you're running around in an 8 second street car.

Probably 95% of the time I see something worth messing with, my wife and young kids are with me out for a sunday cruise. I swear!!!! One sunday about 6 months ago we saw a murcielago(i guess thats how you spell it), another 03 cobra, and on of those c4 grand sport vettes(the blue with white stripes). The lambo gave me pipe. After the 3rd car I told my wife I was fixing to drop them off at home!!!lol

I fail to see how he was cocky? because his passenger instigated a race and the driver actually went ahead and raced you?

Good kill.
