How does a Vortech S2000 compare?

Your right, they do run 14.0 or better stock. A S/C one should be in the low 13s with a good driver. The diff in the car is not stong but will hold up for many passes. Mine never broke just made alot of noise. There are some S/C guys making 470rwhp+ but thats with alot of work. The s/c fpr the s2k are **** and dont flow very well. Thats why i went turbo. I build boost around 3000. I belive I have full boost around 5500-6000. I really dont look at the gauge, belive it or not 9400rpms come damn fast with a 8lb flywheel. No matter, I would also like to see the race so please make a vid.
IMHO, superchargers are a waste of time without big cubes. The parasitic loss is bad for a low displcement engines and the centifugal units simply dont do much down low in any aplication contrary to popular beleif. Roots units are too inefficient for a small motor that must run efficently to compete. With small engines go turbo or go home IMO.
You by a length in the 1/4.
There was a corvette guy who's from there said he posted low 13s with some bolt on's on his c5. All the times there are slower hands down.

Strange, there at sea level. ****, soon they may be under sea level.
Sounds like you should have him easily, unless perhaps he hasn't told you about all his mods ( hiding a nitrous shot for example ). You just never know, I watched an old ratty volkswagon beetle in four shades of primer walk away from an Audi A6 with decent mods... Who'd have thunk it..
