You're full of ****.

No k20 hatch runs 10's all motor.

I know, I talk to these honda assclowns all day at work.

One guy has a bubble with a K20 with 10K in it, and he runs low 12's, high 11's.

A stock K20 in a bubble is good for low 13's at best.

If you can drive you will kill him, FWD is not his freind.

Badass motors??

Put one in a normal car, one that weighs more than a 2,000lb gutted hatch, and its no so badass anymore, now is it??

Finally someone who sees through all this bs. I'm sorry but everyone thinks those ricer motors are the **** because they put them in cars that weigh 2k lbs. I'm sorry, those ricer motors are not cool.

Don't be mad because your too much of a ***** to say what you really feel. Always worried about "showing respect to the ricers".

I actually like quite a few import cars. I almost bought an S2000 instead of the Mustang, but I decided I wanted torque, and I already have access to an S2000 whenever I want to drive it. I'm not worried about "showing respect to the ricers." I don't group makes of car into that category... it's makes of PEOPLE that I group into that category, and they can drive anything.

The other obvious thing is that the motor is sitting backwards from how a normal honda motor sits. Instead of the header wrapping down from the front and under the engine, it will come right off the back of the block. Then there are the k20a2 (200hp) from the rsx-s and the k20a3 from the civic Si. A true JDM k20 with any bolt ons and ecu in a hatch is going to kill the thread starter as he stands now. I had this in my car before my camaro, and with a set of cams and ecu I made 250whp and redlined 9200. Mine was mild compaired to many out there. 250+whp in something that only weighs 2000lbs in going to equal death to a basic bolton camaro.
I don't know what a ford focus weighs, probably more then the car this guy is racing but I call BS on this. 250 whp in a 2,000 lb. car beating a T/A ? I ran a focus with 231 whp, not much less then 250 whp to make a huge difference and I handed that focus his *** right from the start. My car is bone stock as far as the motor goes, no headers, exhaust, just the shitty stock like system that is on the car with small pipes that are flattened for ground clearance. I have K&N filters and ram air tunnels and that is it. The focus supposedly only had a intake and full exhaust. Come to find out he had a supercharger as well after we ran him, he raced a 97 mustang gt also that I beat. The kid with the focus had a buddy in the car taping and burned a copy of the races onto a dvd for me but I can't figure out how to get it posted yet because of the format and length of the video.

I don't know... ~215whp in a 2800lb RSX-S is mid-high 13s at ~103mph, so I can imagine that 35whp more in an 800lb lighter car would be DEEP in the 12s with traction.

I guess focuses weigh about 2,600+ pounds from what I get from a quick google search. I would say I had him by about atleast 4 or 5 car lengths when it seemed like he let off, judging this by what I saw in my mirrors. I'm not trying to talk my car up or anything like I think it is the baddest car on the road because I know better, it isn't there yet . I have to say though he did pull on the stang and hung in there with him good from the get go. I saw his dyno sheet as well. A k20 with 250 whp in a 2,000 lb car compared to one that weighs over 1,000 pounds more would be a problem I guess. Enough with the hypotheticals though, the race is over and the ricer lost.

Firstly WTF?

They raced, he won. Done. I said it, I was right.

Second, the K20 is pretty cool for certain apps. Like the Ariel Atom. I would not neccesarily call it bad-***, but I dont know. I do know that an LS1 simply would not work in that app, same as a FWD NA K20 would not work so great in a car over 3300LBS.

Third, I want to see a H/C LS1 RWD Civic. God would that **** people off. I would love to own one. All the fanboys get all butthurt, all the ricers get butthurt, and meanwhile the car simply obliterates 95% of the crap that actually runs on the street. Even better would be if it were nice and stockish looking. Obviously you would need custom hubs and thus wheels, but otherwise stock appearance. No ricey plastic crap at all.
