I've seen some pretty bad-*** bolt on LT1's outrun some LS1's......so I can say..that I've seen stranger things happen!

Some stock higher mileage ls1's that have been ragged out aren't any faster.

Not to dog on anyone, but a bolt on lt1 will run with a stock ls1 and a light modded mustang all day long...all day long.
11.30's with gears 10.90's with "headers and stuff" You have to be kidding. These are not 1/4 times that are possible without some power adders or with internal modifications.

The only way those times are good is if there was an incidence where a guy stood at one end of the track with a stop watch and as soon as he seen you leave he hit and when you went by he stopped it, and even then its still not believable.

He is talking about 1/8th mile times. I thought that was a given.

Those are shitty times for 1/8th mile too. 9.xx's should be no problem for any of the cars, mach 1, lt1, ls1.

I'm also curious why you would switch to an LS1 front-end? I own an LS1 and I think the Lt1 front end looks better...

He didn't rape that car, he pulled a car/car and a half on it.
LT1's will bolt ons and gears/stall beat LS1's all the time, and a Mach 1 is no faster then an LS1.
Clarify this for me,

Does this mean he has Shorty headers and the Mach one was not stock?

If so then how does he have a modded Mach 1/LS1 destroying vehicle with weak headers, catback (or cutout), intake (I assume is a CAI) and a pulley?

I didn't see gears on his list of mods. I am well aware of what bolt-on LT1's can and can not do since I used to drive a 95 Z28.

Anything can happen on the street which is probably why I only race at the track. I raced two LT1's this past weekend at the track and beat them both. But they both had minimal mods if that makes you feel any better

Skrilla,

Good kill and nice Vette death.

When my 99 Cobra was stone cold stock I had a red LT1 walk me. Now if I had have had nothing but 4.30 gears I would have walked him.

Thanx 4 the comments guys

As for everything else, Yes the Mach should have pulled me, so should have the ls1 etc. Driving plays a BIG part in the street. A good driver can make u 2 cars quicker, a bad driver can make u 2 cars slower; if not more. All my mods are, Pacesetter shorties, Magnaflow exhaust, intake, pulley, TB bypass, tranny work and a spec stage 2 clutch. I ran 13.7 @ 104. With a 2.3 60ft I now have 3.23, but in the vids of me & LS1's I had 3.73 Broke my rear a while ago. Now I am about as fast as a C5 vette, in my vids. as for the "N.O.S" I have a lot of ppl say im hiding some. No nos here. Im willing to open my hood for anyone, nothin to hide. I get surprised at some cars I beat, but IDK??? like I said Driver has a LOT to do with a race

Oh and I bought the car with this front end.

BTW the times I ran were at 3000ft above sea level

I don't know what the hell's wrong with all of you! We run about 900ft then swing around a cone in the middle of the road and race back! Last one back loses their car.(boy that cop was pissed when he was chasing me-but rules are rules. Anybody wanna buy a slightly used cop car?). . . wait a minute. . . maybe that was part two of a movie. LOL

when I bought my ws6 I raced my 94 ta with longtubes, catback, cold air intake and 3.73's, with my buddy driving the lt1 he put about 4 cars on me, that bolt on lt1 definatley ran stronger than my stock ls1 but since the mods have happened it's another story.

See that sounds about right though. LT's & gears really wake up LT1's. With traction a LT1 with the mods you mentioned can rip out of the hole. I bet that LT1 was a very low 13 second car. Lots of stock LS1's (mine included) ran mid 13's at best. We can't all be the high 12 second stock LS1's. Because we don't all have M6's, we don't all live at sea level and we don't all have Evan Smiths driving skills
