well, if he would of said a srt10 (assumes 03+) was faster than a c5 z06, I wouldn't of argued either. But no way it would outrun a c6z06.

Oh well, the 2008 standard model will, and they have an answer to the next one too. We shall see.

HET GUYS I JUST READ THAT HOLE SRT10 VRS SLOWBRA THREAD..

I know the guy came off a lil arrogant but every thing he said was 100% correct..

A gen 2 Viper like mine dynos around 410 rwhp and can trap 120 mph..

But his is a 2004 SRT10 gen 3 viper and has 445 rwhp and can trap 123 mph bone stock..


445 rwhp and 3400 hundred pounds would pull a 450 rwhp 3800 pound pullied exhaust 03 cobra pretty good..

But he has a few mods and a tune. He's probaly right around 470 rwhp.

With 470 rwhp and a 3400 pound curb weight he would pull a 450 rwhp 3800 pound cobra VERY EASILY...

Youd be comparing a 125 mph trapping car to a 118 mph trapping car.

The Viper in the video racing Fadi is a Gen 2 viper like mine with 465 rwhp. The 470 rwhp Viper that this guy that got banned owns would have done exactly the same.

A 470 rwhp Viper and and bone stock C6Z06 would be EXTREMELY close.

Now a stock 445 rwhp 2003-2006 gen 3 Viper will get pulled bt 3 mph and 3 tenths and the 1/4 mile by a C6Z06. But an extra 25 rwhp will even it up pretty good..

So please dont base this guys gen3 vipers performance off of my gen 2 vipers performance.

I needed 1.7 roller rockers...no cats...air intake and tune to hit 445 rwhp. His car had that 100% bone stock. Or possibly more since I recently read of one with 463 rwhp bone stock..( But 445 seems to be the average)

445 rwhp bone stock plus his bolt ons and tune is some were between 465-475rwhp

 

I don't think many people were questioning his story until he started bashing everyone. I don't doubt that he won against to stang or can keep up/be even with a C6Z06, it was more the way he said it and that he was insulting everyone. Also he was bashing people regardless of what they said and challenging everyone with no clue about what set-up they even had. He was banned cuz he was a douche not cuz he doesn't have a fast car. But in any case, everything you said makes perfect sense and worded the way you just did, I'm sure the guy would still be here...well maybe not still be here but...

I'm not a mod here, but it seems obvious to me that fanboy trolling to start **** isn't tolerated here by those that ARE mods. I like it and IMO it makes for a very enjoyable forum.

A SRT10 vrs a 03 cobra is half way exciting to me. The guy could have just made the story more fun..

Pulling a pullied exhaust Cobra is not somthing many cars can do. So I tip my hat atleaste for that.

I think that if everyone wouldnt have jumped on SRT>Z06's *** then none of this would have happened. Maybe if most you guys would stop acting like a bunch of rabid wolves everytime someone post anything..... But that is just IMO....

 

I understand what you're saying. I can't agree with you though. I watched the thread said douche started. He was here, self admittedly, to stir the **** pot. His words. Nothing anyone would of said could have stopped him from being a dick. It was his whole purpose.
