procharged mustang
I stop at the parts store and a guy with a 94 mustang cobra was trying to race me for $300. I wanted to race for fun but he didnt want to.He said it cost money to buid it why race for fun. His car had a procharger 12 psi, cam,75mm Tb,sho heads, stock tranny, and 3.55 gear. Want kind of race would it had been with my 94 Trans am A4 Lt's,4in y,pulleys, foil, flowmaster, 3.73,160*,CAI,100 lb weight reduction. would i have had a chance sorry for being so long
He'd outrun you, so don't race him unless you just want to loose. So all I can tell you is.....I got my *** handed to me the first time by a SVT Cobra. You know what that made me do? Made me decide to Spray all the Snakes that I race!

So....I can't see that 94 Cobra running into the 10's......mid 11's yeah....but 10's.....no..I just can't actually go with that one.

But I do have a buddy with a 3300lb. 79 z-28 with an brodix aluminum headed 496 carbureted, stalled, auto and 4.10 gears-that only runs what my coupe ran(before the motor expired). Which I always thought was kind of slow for what he had. I guess its all in the combination. Some guys always go straight to the bottom of the page for cams and heads and then put on a single plane intake and huge carb and wonder why they aren't running as quick as they think they should be.
He can outrun me, but when I raced him I didn't spray him, and I pulled about 3 cars right off the bat but he ran me down and passed me by only 2 cars right at the end of the quarter. If I spray him, it may be diffrent, who knows.
That's why I doubt that 94 Cobra running in the 10's. Much less I doubt he's pushing 12psi on that setup.
