He's going to beat you. Don't make "what would happen" threads.

He'd outrun you, so don't race him unless you just want to loose. So all I can tell you is.....I got my *** handed to me the first time by a SVT Cobra. You know what that made me do? Made me decide to Spray all the Snakes that I race!

Thats kinda stupid that he would say why race for fun..

Most people dont build their cars to race for money.

I dont' know abotu that....12psi on a 5.0 depends on cams/heads and tune really. Don't forget those first year 5.0 sn95s were not that strong 215hp..pretty sad really. Unless he 'really' built it..I doubt he was running low 11s high 10s.

But, I agree he would have killed you. and IBTL.

....Hmmmmmmmm....I don't know man.......I dout that 94 Cobra being a 10 second car. I got this guy that lives here and he's got a 92 Fox body with a Merlin Big Block and Yarber Performance everyhting...cam, heads, stall, manual valve body w/ reverse shifting, 4:10's pushing 550 horses to the rear wheels....and he runs a 10:70. So....I can't see that 94 Cobra running into the 10's......mid 11's yeah....but 10's.....no..I just can't actually go with that one.

Dude, all I can say is that is one pig of a big block. My 91 coupe-full interior 351windsor, fuel injected, pump gas, street car with a tremec 5-sp ran consistent 11.20s-11.30s-without a custom tune.(at 3320lbs with driver). But I do have a buddy with a 3300lb. 79 z-28 with an brodix aluminum headed 496 carbureted, stalled, auto and 4.10 gears-that only runs what my coupe ran(before the motor expired). Which I always thought was kind of slow for what he had. I guess its all in the combination. Some guys always go straight to the bottom of the page for cams and heads and then put on a single plane intake and huge carb and wonder why they aren't running as quick as they think they should be.

This Fox body that I was talking about is professionally built by Yarber Performance in Tn. But I still think this car is slow for the insane amount of money he spent on it.

He can outrun me, but when I raced him I didn't spray him, and I pulled about 3 cars right off the bat but he ran me down and passed me by only 2 cars right at the end of the quarter. If I spray him, it may be diffrent, who knows.

That's why I doubt that 94 Cobra running in the 10's. Much less I doubt he's pushing 12psi on that setup.

A fox-body with that much power running 10.70s is kinda sad... And I can definitely see the SN95 in question having ~450rwhp.
