Yeah, but what holds a stock 302 back is the h/c/i setup, and he's taken care of that. With that, it's at the very least up to stock New Edge GT territory hp-wise. But this really is a fruitless argument, since none of us know the specifics on the car, and nobody is ever even gonna see it

Yeah man....I have to agree...most all the racers hate Bristol because it is the slowest track I've been at. Did you hear about the Asphalt problems? They are closing the track for 3 more weeks because the new blacktop is coming up in chunks!

We go to Isom Raceway down in Isom Kentucky alot...and it's .5 quicker than Bristol if not more.

Hey man....we should have a get-to-gather sometime at a track. You bring some friends and I'll bring some....have a good night of racing and drink some beers and just get out and run our **** for the fun of it.

Yes bristol is very slow. I know first hand also. And isom is like a 330 ft track. With 2.73's I'd not even be halfway through 1st gear lol btw i live in SW VA

I know both of them, but they aren't 94-95cobras. Gumby has no documentation showing that he went 10.8s, and I know Tom-he is a good friend of mine and with his 11.45 e.t. he outran gumby I think twice. Once from a roll and once from a stop. So-10.8 my ***!!! And Tom's 11.45 was not spinning. He was hooking, but told me he needed to work on his rear suspension and driving techniques. Gumby is now a turbo car with less boost. He is running true street today in Baytown, so I will post up what he runs for you. And one other thing, Tom runs a built 306 with AFR 185s, full exhaust, Holley Systemax intake, Procharger with 14PSI and methanol injection, gear, throttle body, tune, etc. What i'm saying is this practice of people saying "I only have a stock motor with a few bolt-ons and 8psi and my **** runs 10s" is DOO-DOO!!!

Then his car will probably last with him babying it...well, longer than it 'should'.

As for fuel....Injectors and pumps are supply. I was refering to A/F ratio from the tune.

And I agree with lock..this thread has gone way off topic..sorry, I had a hand in that one.

i used to be there every weekend. I work in port arthur. I have been working 7-12s the past 3 months so i havent a chance to make it out. I took off the weekend, i went to the dirt track races saturday to watch my buddy. i was standing in the pits watching some of the fun ford event. i saw Gumby's car sitting in the parking lot, also saw Adams mustang make a pass. I was in beaumont today looking for apartments. I was just going off what i was told on the times. i have ridin in both cars and they seem to be pretty strong. Next day off im going back out to kohls. My car is alright still has a long ways to go to be able to hang with all of you KB running around Beaumont.
