So if you ran into a guy with an 1100hp Supra, you'd call him a ricer?

Technically a supra is Japanese so it can be considered rice.

Its got more muscle in it than any other Japanese car though.

And unlike Camrys/Corollas/Accords/Civics (and like ALL other Nippon performance cars, save for the DSMs), NONE were built here, so they CANNOT use the "more American than your f body" B. f'in S.!!

IF he had a smug/pompous "there's not a domestic on this planet that can touch my invincible/infallible Nippon supacar" attitude (as many, if not MOST of the MKIV owners on the old LS1.com had), HELL F'IN YES, I would have NO PROBLEM calling him an UBER ricer. Even though I know most of you worshippers would feel he deserves to have that pimpazz swagger.
If he were cool, and realized he still was NOT the fastest thing in the universe, then NO I would NEVER call him a ricer.

Any car from Asia can be considered rice. thats where the term originated, it wasn't even a term until people started modifying Japanese imports to look and/or go faster.

Think about that for a minute and come back when you're done shitting your pants and crying about it like a child.

Nice argument....for a racist!! Dude, really, shut up....you are embarrassing this whole forum....

The guy lost to a faster car..end of story. By the way the import guy behaved he is just a good car enthusiast that showed RESPECT to the f-body performance...that is not rice.

Yet again your a ******* idiot. You say "rice" refers to a vehicle of asian descent, then you talk about a riced out camaro. And there in lies my point the term "rice" did not originate because of cars from japan, it originated from all of the crap sold to mimic the performance cars of japan. The wings/exhaust/intakes are all acceptable parts on real performance cars but the term "rice" comes from putting them on a car with no performance capabilities. Such as wings on a FWD, boost guages on a N/A, turbonators, carbon fiber hoods on a grocery getter, etc.

I see plenty of "riced" out domestic cars, looking like a god damn ebay special. The look is inspired by Japanese peformance cars, but Japanese performance cars are just that... PERFORMANCE cars, try and deny that. American cars inspire some bullshit, ever seen some of those stick on hood scoops mimicking the big block cars? Half the crap at pepbopys... skull shift *****, flame wheel covers, etc.

People have been modifying japanese cars to go faster for a lot longer than the term rice has been thrown around, driving our domestic torque monsters we have a job to humiliate the actual rice, beat up on the majority of the imports and compete with the better ones. We also have to be ready to have our asses handed to us, I have had my *** handed to me by some DSM cars and one really nice evo, as well as a K20a hatchback and my buddies RB26 240sx. It's nice though when I find out they spent all that money to be able to beat cars like mine and cobras, vettes etc.

No foreign car will EVER be able to say they are more American than your f body.

You need to learn to read.

I did day rice refers to a vehicle of Asian decent. Therefore a "riced out V6 Camaro" would refer to a vehicle that has been modified to look like a riceburner from Japan. An American car cannot be rice, but it can be "riced out".

And with everything else you said, you are wrong about the origination. People have been calling Jap cars "rice" for decades, it refers to any Asian vehicle. Not just vehicles that have been modified to look Japanese with aftermarket parts. You are making **** up as you go.

Japanese and "performance" don't go together in my book. Anything that looks like a shopping cart, sounds like a weedwacker, and has the powerband of a motorcycle isn't a performance car in my book. Its a piece of **** riceburner from Nipponland. Yea, I'll say it, I hate Jap crap. Deal with it.

Americans and Europeans know how to make real performance cars. They don't just take some shitbox economy car, stick a huge wing and a turbo on it with a fart can, and call it a sports car. The Asians have the worst taste in vehicle design in the history of automobiles.

Okay...so you stick up for how great Jap cars are, then you pretty much agree by saying American Muscle beats up on rice, and that Jap cars need to be modified to keep up with stock muscle cars?? You make no sense.

I haven't had that one used on me yet. They usually just say their bottle pressure was low.

Dont feed the trolls. As Einstein said, human stupidity is the only thing besides the universe that he thought might be limitless. And he was never sure about the universe.

So we could sit and point out how stupid the fanboy trolls are all day, it wont make any difference. Instead, be content to know that they go about with their stupid false information and worthless opinions making asses of themselfs any time they go to a real mans track and step out of E-warrior land.

And to onebadassws6 like I said I can understand and respect if you simply don't like japanese cars and like domestic stuff, but seriously running around deeming every Jap car as rice with no performance potential is just absurd. I'm talking about the real jap performance cars: supras, evos, B16-18 hondas, RB motor nissans, DSM's.

I happen to hate VW's... hate their styling their weird cult-like community ... maybe they can be fast and I will admit that as I don't know enough about them. You hate Jap cars, thats cool good for you but I hope you have a pretty nasty WS6 to back up your claims that Jap cars can't be fast.

Well that depends on if he turned the boost up when he ran you the second time or was it just the start speed that caused you to lose. Unlike most cars I can change my map/boost with a press of a switch so I don't use the "Low Boost" excuse but I can tell you my car isn't 1/2 as quick on 15psi as it is on 20psi or 21psi with meth injection. So if he still can up the boost it might be another good run for you. If he did up the boost then get a lid & headers and say bye bye to him.

Hi my name is Shawn and I drive RICE. This is the 1st time I admitted my problem and it feels good. The only thing keeping me from crying right now is knowing my RICE is faster then ONEBADASSWS6 12.7@110 car.

From the sound of it absolutely.

Tuning and boost can be very tricky too. In a lot of cars you tend to hit a point where it's the stock timing that is holding you back with detonation, not the AFR. So while 240-guy might be able to run rich on high boost with some fuel mods, he might still be chasing his tail with knock due to factory timing curves. Unless he can adjust the timing curve or tends to run about on 110 or something.

So he might not get much faster with more boost due to timing being retarded due to knock or too running really damn rich trying to fight knock. I dont have any first hand expirience tuning SR20s though. But timing advance makes a huge difference on output in any application IMO.

WRX-Error is not exactly your typical turbo 4 banger guy. He sounds like he actually has his **** together .

Next time.....
