Raced a C5 Z06...*Video* My good friend recently purchased a 2003 C5 Z06. It is pretty much stock with just a cai and a shifter. He ran a 12.3@117 with it on the factory street tires. We went out to see how a stock C5 Z06 compared to a stock C6 Z06 from a roll. We did run from a dig on a different day and I wasn't able to catch him until 120 mph.. 
I wish I had that video to show you but it wasn't captured.

Nice. I can run with a C6Z and beat it from a dig, by a car or so, but from the 40 roll, I get raped almost that bad...but that's the A4 and my 3.15 gears calling out for help in 3rd gear !
Doug just called 30 mins ago and he's on the way to LG to pick his up then maybe to my place for a bit before he hits the road. I'm sure he's ready to get back and put the race on video!

If I were to guess from my experience of owning a C5 Z06 and this cars trap speed, I would say this C5 Z06 is making ~355 rwhp. My 2001 Z06 that trapped at 115 made 340 rwhp with a cai.

The C5 Z06 driver is one of my good friends. I knew the outcome was going to be just that. One car traps at 117, the other at 126. 9 mph difference in just the 1/4 mile. But like I said, they are actualy kind of close up to 100, with the C6 Z06 being only .4 secs faster. In a 1/4 mile race, the outcome wouldn't look this bad. It is just that past 100 the C6 Z06 screams utilizing its gearing and rpm advantage.
