Get some bolt ons, shift at 6K, and blow his ricer away like he's going backwards.

An LS6 intake manifold, Long Tube Headers, and a true dual exhaust will do you good

Yup, Actually We raced from a 40mph roll.. I had him until about 70 then he creep past me... by like a car and a half...

When I had my evo, he actually beat me too.. But by very little though.

Anyhow, His car is a 98 Eclipse Gs-T With a 16g turbo. Running.. 20psi. I believe.
Which is a friend of mine.

I need some longtubes + true duals,etc.

Ok guys, What do guys think I have for H/p right now? B/c my friends don't believe me that I have 300rwhp. No matter what I try to explain to them.. (retards). B/c I lost to a 270fwhp. So they are saying that my car couldn't even have more than 260.. They are frigin retards..

you should have anywhere from 300-320 rwhp easy my 2002 WS6 was a Factory Freak and cranked out 332rwhp as my 2001 SS had 318rwhp. Throw some simple mods on and let that Ls-1 breath! Then it will be a diffrent story.

270 whp on 20 psi sounds kind of low for a GS-T. Was the dyno a mustang or a dynojet? I could be closer to 300+ if it were on a mustang. My friend's TSI awd makes over 315 whp at only 19psi.

Airflow is what makes power, not boost. I made 400hp with 17 psi.

Dude, everyone just gave you the formulas to get on top of this guy. It's like you're not listening. Are you thinking of going back to your Evo? Get the LT's, Exhaust, and if you really want to kill him, get a shot. They weigh less than you do. That's a downside to the F-Body, the mods will compensate for our heavy cars. Now get modded and you won't have that problem for long.

Well his car was untuned.... Once it's tuned, It'll be W .. TF. Aim to be 340FWHP.

Well, When I try to race him from a dig, He says he can't cuz he'll be spinning 1st, 2nd, and a little bit of 3rd.. So he won't race me at lower speed.

But yes, I need some mods...!!! BADDDDD...

just slap on a dry shot of nitrous to make sure stuff like this doesn't happen.
hell, on a hot and humid day i'd have no shame in spraying against a minivan.

3,000 lbs is feather weight when it comes to street cars!! Power to weight is the key and he has a large advantage over you. Why do you think putting a bone stock LS1 in a RX-7 makes it an 11 second car, power to weight. Dont worry about it though, all it takes is mods.

After reading what everyone said, all I can add is that next time you should probably have someone put a mine in the middle of the road so when that fool starts to pass you he'll hit it and just blow up..

270WHP on a 16G at 20PSI is not all that low on a stock long block and street tune on 91. He might want to look at how much timing he is able to get at 20PSI given a good IC, because on a FWD he could get more in some casesa. Sure some shops will get mid 300s at 20PSI and just over 400 if they run it up to 27 setting at 23. But they are shops on more aggressive tunes, often at sea level. Its kind of like how people around here are so shocked that a basic cam only 224/224 car will not be over 400WHP every time here in the valley.

Conditions mean a lot. Having said that, the average well though out 16G car is in the low 300s on the average dyno, maybe mid-300s on a dyna-pac. Cams and good tuning can take that significantly higher, but most 16G cars are meant to be fun cheap DDs and so the owners dont bother doing cams and such for emmisions reasons or whatever.

not trying to be mean but there is no way someone can run 20 psi on 91 with out detonating out the *** on a 16g unless using some form of water methanol injection because i have a big 16g on my dd
