No, I would never say that. It's your choice to spend your hard earned money however you want and I respect that.
I always see a few Mustang guys in the kills section making excuses for their slow cars, every time a mustang loses or if the Mustang had this or that it would've won. Needless to say, this is very rice-ish and has no place in LS1tech.

If I confused you for one of those, I take back what I said before about your car. I have talked to a few 5.0 guys and they liked my car and I said the same of theirs. I like Mustangs, Supras and everything that's fast. I just don't like idiots and dumb asses. But thieves, I hate (but thats another story).

Local Heretic - in all fairness....there isn't one type of car that isn't owned by people like that. Excuses are one thing, reasons are another. I think most stang guys make comments like that for a few reasons. One of which is there may be un informed fbod guys about certain stangs, and if they read certain things, they aren't going to know any better. Some of us stang guys are here to teach, as well as to learn.

 

why spend over 20k for a GT mustang whe u can get a SS for 13k, and with 4k more you can match or beat a Terminator. which is aroung 28k in my part of the world.

 

Why spend $13k for an SS when you can have a 10s Foxbody Mustang for that much?

 

Irunelevens states another reason...however, the answer is simple......personal preference. And some people also look at resale value. Historically stangs hold better value.

Camaros have been kicking Mustangs ***'s since 1967 so get over it and stay on topic.
