how would this race turn out? one of my buddies is going to run a 99 c5 M6 in a stock 00 SS m6 only mods is a cat back on the ss! what do u think

Depends on the upkeep of each car and how they are running. The corvette has a slight aerodynamics advantage, but that won't come into play until after 110mph or so.......essentially, its a drivers race, specially from a dig....

When my C5 was bone stock I raced a LS1 SS camaro on the feeway.
From 70-100 it was pretty close. But from 100-130 mph I put two cars on him..
My c5 was a 2.73 geared auto.
Stock for stock I was faster than every Fbody manual or auto in our local club besides one mn6 WS6 who tied my et stock for stock.
200 pounds and .29 drag makes for a faster car..Even if the Fbody dynos 5 rwhp higher on average due to divetrain loss
