Just demolished an Audi R8
Cruising down the road on my way home I noticed an exotic looking car in front of me. At first glance, I thought it was a Ferrari. As I got behind him I noticed the audi symbol along with the "R8". Got up next to him but he would never look at me.
Prior to me pulling next to him, I heard him goosing it a couple cars ahead "exotic sound btw" so I knew he might be game for a race.
I get back behind him at a light, light turns green and he slowly starts going. I left it in first just in case he decided to jump and sure enough he takes off. I caught him and FLEW by, then slowed to give him a thumbs up but he woudlnt even look at me.
As soon as I got home, I did some research on them to see their specs. They are said to run 12.6's at around 113 so it's no surprise that I would win, but it was still cool to see one on the road.
Well, that's my story, thanks for reading.

Congrats! Nice kill. I didn't think these things were even set for release until the fall, at the earliest! BTW; with sticky enough handling tires, and as long as you did not swap in QA1s/Hals, you would stick right with him in the "twisties" (on smooth, dry roads, at least).

I don't know if this one was modified, although I do not think it was. It def. had an exotic sound.
As for weight, I believe I read they weigh around 3400lbs which is comparable to f-bodies. Just from "reading" stock for stock, they should win every time if they are running 12.6's. I would imagine that most of that grunt is in the launch with AWD since he wasn't much of a race for me from a 15mph roll.

Good kill !! Let me know if you come across a BMW M5 V10. I got to race one in Illinois on my way back from Texas. I would love to destroy the Audi you raced. I like beating up high dollar Euro rides.

Actually the r8 can only send a max of 30% of output to the front so its more oversteer prone than any other audi. The back end comes around quite nicely from what I've seen.

Congrats on the kill - they're pretty rare cars so far. I got to sample one a short while back; great looks, decent power, and very comfortable as a bonus *L*. Here's a link to a Top Gear review:
