A KB is way louder than a Whipple, and the stock ported Eaton is louder than both (at least mine was) sometimes I miss my Eaton and KB because of the louder whine, but the look of the Whipple has really grown on me compared to the KB.

wait a minute... you went through a ported eaton, then to a kenne bell and finally you ended up with a whipple?!?!? wow man how many more combinations are you gonna try? maybe a 76mm snail in the future?

I'd say anywhere from low 11's to high 12's depending on traction & the
driver.

Either way, something's not right here if the guy is really making 460rwhp.
He would walk right past you...assuming that he knows the gas pedal
is on the right side.

Yep, the plan was to go TT this summer, but I picked up a few bikes again and were gonna put some money into the Vette.

Yeah plans are to keep it for a while As mentioned I was gonna go TT on the Cobra, but im having fun modding the bike now (R1) and I want to get that dyno'd once I get a Power Commander and im getting the Cobra tuned again this coming Monday on race gas, instead of our crappy 91. When I go out to mess around I usually add race gas anyways so why not.

My ******* idiot boss bought a used Z06 Vette and is telling everyone it has 460 hp and has no idea what it really has... Sorry just had to vent.

Agreed. My time range was definitely narrow. Traction and the driver will be the deciding variables of that.

Yea, the lag is minimal. A 2-step works as would a 75 shot to overcome the initial lag, but once the thing is rolling, it's getting-r-done.

ganbang, he should've ran you bad whether you were in your powerband or not, 460rwhp is a lot of hp to overcome by a stock a4 LS2 GTO, (330rwhp). perhaps the tune on the Cobra is 100% messed up, or you're not stock as you say, or he was really racing in 5th gear, but i'd rather prefer to think the the tune is facked or your car is modded

My 03 Cobra ran 11.70's @ 119-120. Using a 2.76 pulley, it dynoed around mid 450ish. Had CAI, pulley, SCT flip chip, Borla Stinger exhaust.

Sounds like the dude was lugging it in the wrong gear, wasn't tuned right, or just full of crap.

I really like the way the KB sounds and it seems to hit hard right away, not like the stock blower which takes some rpm to really get into boost.

I don't know, I thought mine snapped my neck back PFQ. I gave a couple of coworkers whiplash from it.
