damn 03 cobras, unit 213?
i have a buddy of mine that has a black terminator 03 cobra. i have a 05 gto and i have ran him on the freeway a few times and he seems to keep up but just cant pass me up. i keep it in 3rd up to 120-130ish before i shift to 4th. this damn cobra whines hella bad, i mean my windows were rolled up with music playing and i still heard that blower. he says he puts down 460rwhp but he doesnt know what size is his pulley. what i wanna know is why cant he pass me at 3rd gear? i dont take it to 4th cuz 130mph is good enough on the freeway for the most part. and another thing ( maybe unit can answer this ) is there anyway to identify a pulley from looking at the engine beside using a ruler? i only know a little about 03-04 cobras maybe u can help. thanks

There are so many variables I really couldn't give you "the" answer. I
question anyone with a Cobra that claims to make 460rwhp, but has no idea
what size pulley he's running. I could probably tell you what size it is if you posted
a picture. Outside of that, you can measure it.
What are your mods?

Did he just recently buy the car with mods?.. Because like Unit said, I'd question anyone who claims they have 460RWHP and don't know what pulley size they're running, unless they bought the car modded.
But chances are he's running a 2.93, 2.80, or 2.76. Could be any of the three, but If you could hear the blower whine in your car with the windows rolled up over any other noise, then I'm leaning towards a 2.80 or 2.76 pulley. If you could get a close up the pulley, we could probably tell what size it is. Some pulleys have the size on the pulley ring, others don't.

You're stock?... I have no idea why he didn't pass you.
The stock pulley is big, black and solid. It's also covered with a shroud. If you don't see a shroud covering the pulley, then chances are he could be pullied. But If you see a pulley with holes in it or in any colors other than a straight black, then it's not the stock pulley.

There are other aftermarket pulleys out there that look different than my red pulley. But if it looks anything different than the stock one, then it's not stock.

A Cobra with that amount of power will run anywhere from high 11's to low 12's.
