Me and a C6
Me and a C6 I was driving back to area of town I live on NE Lp 410 and saw a Blk C6. It looked good and sweet. Anyways it was on the slow lane and I was on the fast lane were doing 65-70 MPH. Speed limit. He scoots over to the middle lane and creaps up. Now were both side by side. We give each other a stare and I could have sworn he gave me a cocky look so I reved it up. I heard him ease off and I put her in neutral and then we go. I swift down to third and I'm off ahead, his front bumper was even with my front tire. I easy off and coast it. Of course, he wanted a rematch. So we do it again. This time I'm up by a fender. I know he was trying cause we both hit the brakes when we caught up with traffic again. So he goes up ahead bobbing and wevying through traffic. He waits for me to catch up. I'm happy and excited of my ride. I'm stoked. He wants another shot. So we ran them a third time. I'm gonna say he got that one. I let off. I didn't want to do 90-100 on a curve next to a concrete divider for construction not to mention I saw him wanting to cut in not having cleared me yet and for a second I saw me wrecking my baby. Just wasn't worth the third victory. Two out of three ain't. Wish I'd won the last two not the first two. Was my car really able to beat a C6? You guys beaten a C6 yet with your ride having H&C, exhaust, tune etc.? Wish I hadn't given in that third time. Now I'm gonna be bummed for that.
How long was the race...cause it looks like it was from 65-70 to less than 100 (based on you saying you didn't want to go that fast in the last race)? If so, that's hard to tell what happened...hope it was at least to 120.
You could certainly hang with your setup...guessing it's about 380rwhp or so? You could certainly win outright too, and the Vette driver could have been in the wrong gear, but that would still be a win for you if he doesn't know his car.
Don't get me wrong, you could win with him being a good driver too...should be pretty close. I'm assuming he was basically stock too.
Either way...good kill, and don't let the idiots get you into trouble...good call on the let off at the wall!

Oh yeah we hit 120 and 130 MPH. That third time was sort of ify cause of the car he had in front of him in his lane and I knew he wound want to cut in my lane without thinking twice of the out come. My current set up has me 390+ RWHP and 389 RWTQ. My props to all vettes. I love the vette. Hopefully I'll own one, one day. Thanks

Just glad the guy in the Vette didn't do something stupid and cut you off at high speed (ego can get people killed).

I don't usually. I like taking care of my ride. Don't like abusing her but just wanted to know what she had. I'd like to see how she'd do against a Roush or a Steeda with the SC in them. I'd also like to how she do against a Charger SRT-8.

Always a good kill when you get a C6, badass rides man. Now when a C6ZO6 rolls up, that's when you act like a ricer and don't look at him. Act like you have no idea he is right beside you. haha, j/k. Good kill!

nice kill! C6's are what im aiming for! this dude on my street went out and bought one after i raped his 350z a few times over and now he's the cockiest damn vette owner ive ever came across.. maybe i can reel him in by the end of the summer, what do you guys think? LE2 LT1 w/ 4.10's and DR's or am I going to need a 150shot too?
