Yea the guy with the turbo is only running 5psi, which is safe for an all stock car, no other upgrades required like fuel or rearend. Guy needs to do some more work and put it up to 8psi+, then it'll surpass 500rwhp easily.

And LOL at the guy on the RX7 site saying that LS6s are a waste to swap into F-Bodies too. A co-worker of mine has a LS6 SS M6. He only has a cat back and lid on it. His last motor got messed up somehow (I suspect a bad missed shift) and he just had an LS6 swaped in. Anyway, it easaly puts down nearly what a average 224/224 would, with all the benefits of stock-ness. Pulls freakin hard for what it is.

Not the chepest route, but LS6 F-Bodies rock.

I used to have a turbo rx7, low boost with some bolt-ons. Not as fast as the z28, but it was FUN to drive. I wouldn't mind having another rx7.

What is the point of this thread?

The victory is normal. BTW, that RX-7 is beautiful.

You just have to keep racing RX-7s over and over again...eventually, they'll blow a seal and you won't have to worry about seeing them on the street again for a little while

It actually did for the two I knew and raced when I lived in Colorado...one I saw on the street twice in my two years knowing the guy. Fast as hell, but kept blowing seals.

Another one handed me my *** a few times, and I beat him on technicalities a few times (he missed shifts)...after that night, his car wouldn't start for the next two months (no idea why, but he got it worked out).

Im in Greer. Usually at the Greer Dragway on thursday nights. I take my GN down there every so often and used to run a 75 camaro...white with black teardrop scoop and spoiler. Right now im putting together an 86 monte carlo...should be done very soon.
