I knew his car was putting down more power than mine but we were running close. His best was a 10.31 and my best was a 10.42 so it was going to be a close race. He was on slicks and I was on hoosier QTPs so pretty close to a slick. I was going to have to T him or run my best of the day which I knew was unlikely because the heat. I did end up T-ing him with a .239 r/t but his wasn't bad with a .379. It wasn't quite enough to hold him off. In the end he got me by about a car or two but it's so close it's hard to tell in the vid. One hell of a death to a worthy aponent. My best death to date.

Nice run in any case.

This was the first time I've had the car out since the procharger. If I remember correctly he said his car has run 9s and pulled 1.3 60s. So my guess to the trap speed questions is weather. It was really hot and humid 85+ as the day went on. My first pass at around 11am was a 10.42 with a 128 trap. It kept getting hotter and the best it would do is 125. I'm guessing in 60 degree weather it should be around 132-134.
Also, I don't know what the da was but I'm in the midwest.
