I completely denied a flyby from a turbo PT Loser the other day. It was fun. I like to slow down afterwards until they have to get beside me so that I can see that train-wreck look on their face. It's morbidly entertaining to see somebody who just 10 seconds earlier thought their car was fast.

Its funny bc i've watched a couple of turboed hondas on the dyno and they put down like 330hp and another one that put down 430hp funny thing is both of them are now running into problems. Also they only ran like 12s in the 1/4 and the 330hp one couldn't get out of the 8's in the 1/8

Nice slip by the way.

If you go to japan.... fast hondas are a dime a dozen. Parts are cheap as hell as well as the cars. Building a fast american car.... (IMPORT)...... is a very expensive proposition... and yet when someone does he is applauded and worshipped........... Go figure!!! Funny how they give props to the difficult endeavor and us lazy americans want to take the easy way out.
If you think about it, it's the logical way out. If you want a fast car, buy one. If you want to complicate this, do so at your own expense. Americans aren't lazy on the account of you trying to complicate your goal.

I hate it when ricers get all high and mighty because they had to "work" their way up. Bullshit. Not everybody wants to put over 300hp onto a car meant to scoot your fat *** and the kids.

I did the same thing to a Mini Cooper yesterday. Took off from a light at normal driving speed, and I could hear the 2nd gear tire chirp coming up behind me, so I just stood in it. Dude never caught me, and 90mph on an empty street was enough. He got his flyby opportunity at the next light. Tool.

I will give him credit though, that little Cooper was pretty quick. Not sure if it was stock or not.

Seems like oncce a honda makes it past 300whp its running on borrowed time. That is what i was saying, they may be fast but they're far from reliable.
Unlike our cars, we can run 10s at the track and yet still drive our cars on the street with no issues..

Not to mention.......there is just something about spending 25k on a MOTOR ALONE...that doesn't 'tickle my fancy'. Hell...I spend that on my entire car PLUS blower, labor and install...and I dont' have to race from a roll to perceive to be fast. I can actually be skilled on a launch......fancy that one.

Yes you are totally right... but thats only because most people don't have them built right. Before I came there was a standing joke that no high hp honda has ever survived a full day at the roll on's!!! My builder/tuner changed that notion. I'm the only high hp fwd that has been a weekly standby at the rolls. So it can be done..... just not as easily.

So basically you are saying that if for some strange reason you had to move to japan..... and you wanted a fast car.... you would build a japanese car right? So you're not really a V8 fan... you just like the fact that you can make big power without breaking the bank? I am not talking crap.... this is an actual question.

IF I could afford to live in that inflated, over-priced country, I would purposely build/"import" a C6 Z06 that I would mod enough to MAKE SURE that I could absolutely ROAST anything I would run into over there!! (BTW, that would be "frum ricer roll", dig OR road course/"twisties". )

I'm lost....how could you possibly do that over there.... when you can't even do it here!!!! BTW why do you guys insist on harping about me liking to roll race..... when I would spank you from a dig. You do know that my car runs 12.2 @122 on street tires right?

With enough time, cash, and engineering anything is possible. Just ask all of the Supraboyzz you (this is a "collective" you, NOT you singled out, so don't get in a snit!) so steadfastly worship. Well, at least they claim to be able to "do it ALL" .

LMFAO!! Hahaha!.. Again with the cockyness gsr? Come on, those times aren't relevant to anything he said, at all

A 12.2@122 is not a slouch car at all in my opinion. That's a fast car to me. But, you're on an American based car enthusiast forum. That means V8's with FI and/or nitrous. Your 12.2@ 122 isn't as much to brag about as you think. For a 4 banger, yes. But like I said, you're on an American based car enthusiast forum. Your car is fast, but you let your power numbers and roll racing to 170 get to your head sometime.

Like I said to you in the other thread: There is always someone faster - That's a quote to live by.

^ BTW, I know you've ran faster times than the 12.2@122. But that's not my point. My point is, you're cocky, and there's no need for it. You drive and Integra so that already makes you a "easy target" on here. Cockyness is just going to make **** hard for you on here.

Humble up a bit.

Everything you have said is totally correct... but how am I supposed to defend myself without sounding cocky. I've never once said that my 11 second car is fast. Just faster than the guy's cars that feel the need to try and put me down because I decided to build an import. 04terminator... brian and all the other guys with fast cars... none of them are on my side defending me.... and though they may chime in with a funny comment here and there... you don't see any of them trying to put me down either. Like I said before... a person with a big dick doesn't feel the need to try and make someone else's seem smaller.

There really has only been one guy with a faster car than me who felt the need to talk crap. Voicing your opinion is one thing.... talking crap to me personally is another. He no longer exists to me because what he said crossed the line. While continuing to hafta poke these sharks away there is no way for me to prove how humble I am. I know damn well an 11 second car is barely middle of the pack..... especially on a domestic forum.
