Default Pathetic

This really isn't even worth telling, I just haven't raced in so long that I had to get some kind of thrill. So I'm on the interstate I-75 Southbound when I look up ahead and see a primer yellow, lowered honda civic with a body kit and the entire Mr. T rice starter kit. So I slowly worked my way up to him b/c I don't like weaving in traffic and when I get next to him I just look at him like he's a moron and it doesn't seem that he wants to do anything. So I go on about my business and the next thing I know I look in my rearview and he whips around a car and is on it hard trying to execute a flyby. So I let him get right to my bumper, drop it in 2nd (A4 with 3.73's), and put about 10 cars on him before I let off. Needless to say he wouldn't get back next to me. Sorry for the boring story but this is the only race I've had in a while

Yeah, they just never will get it. Fast and the furious ruined so much of our youths understanding of cars. Sad really.......

Actually, you couldnt be more right. The kids in the last 5yrs have NO idea what a modded LSX or Cobra can possibly feel like. Im sure if they DID, they would change thier minds. Who wouldnt? I hear guys all the time saying they are pushing 200 to the wheels. I dont even bother responding, if I did they would use brain damage reasoning and say "yea but your car is like 600lbs heavier than mine". Never realizing the extra 400+rwhp advantage. Sad actually.

Think of the average ricer. Now give him 300RWHP. Sorry, but I am relieved they dont have LS1s or blown mod motors. We dont have enough EMTs to deal with a few thousand kids in every state getting real power.

If ricers had 12 and 13 second cars, the number of deaths per year would go up 500%. Lets all give a moment of thanks they are still in the 15s and 16s lol.

That ain't no ****, they are wrecking left and right in their 16.5 second FWD cars. I feel kind of bad seeing a kid even my age(20) driving a high-powered car, because I know how my friends are, and they treat their cars like ****. Well not all of them, but most of them.

LOL....... Its nice that someone is concerned!!!!! I think its an american conspiracy to keep kids safe. Knowing how easy it is to make big domestic power with parts cheap and readily available..... they get the kids interested in imports which are overwelmingly expensive to make fast...... therefore keeping most kids in slower and safer vehicles.

It also goes to show how closedminded americans are. All you hear on this site is ricer this and that.... and how stupid it is to build an expensive import. If you go to japan.... fast hondas are a dime a dozen. Parts are cheap as hell as well as the cars. Building a fast american car.... (IMPORT)...... is a very expensive proposition... and yet when someone does he is applauded and worshipped........... Go figure!!! Funny how they give props to the difficult endeavor and us lazy americans want to take the easy way out.
