I don't view all of your posts as cocky. Some are humble and some aren't. However, trying to show your car is fast by the 70-170 roll only races, and Japan this and Japan that with $25K under the hood, is only showing your 'ricey' mentality...NOT your fast car appreciation.

Every once in a while a woman is so good at her sport that her only challenge is to play with the men...... but what self respecting man would go play in a womans league!!!! That is a VERY common time here with damn near bone stock cars. If you want to compare apples to apples... you start with your car bone stock and one of ours bone stock... you dump 10K into each of them... you WILL get walked ALL day long, from a dig, or from a roll. Thats the way I look at it. Some of your posts are fine, others are just plain stupid. You need to realize that your car isn't god's send, and in my opinion 12.2 isn't that fast even though my car probably can hit that. I'll consider mine FAST when im below 10 seconds in the future. Well I think this guy knows that his car is middle of the road here and that there are faster LS cars and Mod cars. I can also understand that some people get tired of hearing about in Japan this and in Japan that.

Well I also have to give him props for his car being what it is regardless of how much money he put into it. That's the one thing I hate hearing with some of the local guys I talk **** with.

They holla that my brought new SS plus the mods that I put into my car cost oh so much money and they brought 85 Fox Bodies and put half the money that I put into my car into their cars and we run about the same times at the track and it can go either way on the streets.

Well they have cars with no interior and no air or powersteering. I can go on a date in my car. We had two different goals so we go to different outcomes. So I really don't care how much somebody put into there car. IF it's fast it's fast.

Some of you people, and by you people I mean some SRK guys, like to bitch about rice more than anything else. Its not really about running X time or wining X race or accomplishing X goal with them. Forged 4G63s are under 3K and will handle more WHP than the LS1 you can buy for that price. And contrary to popular beleif, there are cheap fast and decently reliable non-Windsor or SBC apps. Not really better or neccesarily equal even, but definitely not a waste either. Is displacement a huge advantage? Yes. Is a RWD car the best all around way to go? Yes.

Was the average F-body built for racing? Give me a ******* break. Race cars dont need additonal SFCs, new rear ends, better clutches, or higher stalls. The F-body is a great platform because it is a tough relaible fast street car. Its not meant for the track, though. That argument is pretty damn stupid in fact. Track cars are maitenance nightmares.

Now lets hear the "then leave" arguments from stupid *** newbs who registered two months ago. I've been on here for somethig like a few years IIRC. Never been banned, never been close. Secondarily: NO. I love LS1s, still planning a build with one. Love the info on this site and the stories in here. My car is so not ricey that it actually spits ricey stuff off. I put a blue V-tec solenoid cap on my car because I thought it looked cool. Popped the hood and its gone..... my mechanic said my engine was like....." I don't want that ricey crap on me.... pfftuey!!! LOL
