thats my point for the size of the motor and its supercharged its still a mid 12 sec car but its 4,000lbs still seems a little slow even considering all that and in my area the cheapest you can pic one up is $55,000. where as a fbody has done a 12.9 sec 1/4 stock and it isnt supercharged and isnt anywhere as much in price and it has 150 hp less.

Actually for even $50k you can buy a C5 Z06 and KB it and do a forged 346 or even a 402/403....and have money left over for Brembo's and a body kit. I have considered many times buying a GT500 since I work for Ford but can't justify the $65k they cost for how they perform.

I seem to remember that there was a 75 shot through these 'minor mods', intake, full exhaust, drag radials, ported blower and a pulley, what would that make a 75 shot anyway? through the ported and pullied blower?

I consider minor mods bolt-ons, once you get past that they are NOT minor. I don't think you can get any car faster than 11s with minor mods unless you go into the $100k+ cars, enzo comes to mind The GT500 is an awesome car but overpriced. Now the C6 Z06 is an amazing car and priced fairly.
