I highly doubt the Lambo with only about 60 more HP but 600 more pounds is going to outun the Vette at any speed.

 

A gallarado is a lil faster than a c5z06....But were talking maybe a car faster..

C5Z06's seem to trapp 114-117 in the 1/4 mile...gallardos seem to trapp 115-118...

I saw a video of a stock gallardo vrs a stock gen 2 viper...The Viper pulled it by a 2-3 cars by 140 mph...

About the same place id expect a c5z06 to be by those speeds ....3-4 cars back...

So a drivers race between the baby lambo and C5z06 with the edge to the lambo....


As far as the LP640..

Well I went and did some internet searching...

The old 02 model could do 0-60 in 3.7 and the 1/4 mile at 12.0 ( mph not specified)

That was the 580 HP model...

The LP640 new model has 640 HP and hits 0-60 in 3.3 seconds..It's an 11 second car..

As well i remember a review between the veyron/Z06/Viper/ferrari599/Lp640..

It was from a dead stop to 18 seconds...

The viper was 2 cars behind the C6Z06 and if i recall correctly the ferrari and LP640 were both a bit in front of the C6Z06????????????????

Even the old Merci will give an SRT10 a run to 150 mph with it's 21.1 0-150 time vrs the SRT10's 20.2...

But the C6Z06 will dust em both with it's 0-150 time of 17.9..

The LP640 with it's 11.8 at 126 will run door to door with the C6z06 through the 1/4 mile but then walk it's *** HARD with that 0-150 mph time of 16.1 seconds vs the c6z06's 17.9

Fadi a G-car puts down about 420ish whp from the dyno tests Ive seen with the SE cars putting down a little more. So yes it should be quite a bit faster then a C5 Z06 but not as fast as a C6 Z06. Did you go to Lambo Troy for the test drive? Are you going for 6 speed or Egear?

 

Ya, it was lambo of Troy. It was a 6 speed that i drove, Orange one.

I want a 6-speed. But, I might get an E-gear for the wife. We will see.

As far as the C6 Z06 and Murcielago, an older Murci has no chance against a C6 Z06 and the LP640 is a good race with one atleast through the 1/4 (With a good driver, of course). A bolt on Z06 will run with or beat a LP640 even after the 1/4 mile.

 

Try not to mag race so much dude. I know you, like me, are a lot about numbers but you take it to the next level, lol.

A properly driven Z06 is very hard to beat, and you don't know what the other driver was doing at the time of the race. Remember how much weight a Murci has to move off the line, and also remember that this Z06 is modded up with 520+ rwhp. This car would kill a LP640. You are tlaking about a 600 bhp car at 3100 lbs vs. a 640 bhp car at 4000+ lbs. Not even a contest.

But stock for stock id put my money on the Merci with that 0-150 mph time of 16.1..

Also put my money on the Merci through the 1/4 mile..AWD means that thing will turn 11's every single time on any surface..Not just prpepped

 

Jeenis had LGM install the g7x4 cam. I think his numbers were in the 550+ rwhp and 500+ rwtq range FADI. Either way you are correct. The extra 30 rwhp just adds to what you are saying.

On another note you want an ORANGE Gallardo ?? I figured you would stick with lucky YELLOW. Either way sweet ride you got picked out !!!!

Are you talking about the older Murci's or LP640's? If you are talking about the older Murci's, and on the drag strip, I would put money on it that I would beat it EVERYTIME from a dig. Like I said, the Z06 driven properly is not an easy car to beat, BUT ONLY WHEN IT IS DRIVEN PROPERLY, which we all know is hard to do.

If you are talking about the LP640, yes, I think it would be very close in the 1/4, but I do agree with you that it would pull away after that.

Now, if it were your average Joe behind the wheel of the Z06, my money is on the old Murci and the new Murci EVERY TIME. It is all about driver brutha.
