Default Pseudo kill Mercielago

Well, was cruising dallas today, chilling. First came across a Ford GT, got up right next to him, downshifted, we were on the Tollway with no traffic. It was some old dude, and he didn't even look over
So now, I'm on high traffic 75 on way home.. always looking for a race. Finally see a Black Mercielago coming from behind. I downshift, let him get next to me, give him the thumbs up, he nods and punches it. When i say traffic, I mean bumper to bumper but everyone going about 50. I had no where to go at that point. I actually almost wrecked catching up to him. I downshift again, this time we have about 50 yards open road before more traffic. He just punches it, we're going about 50. I'm ready this time, so even tho he gets the lunge, I catch and pull about 1/2 car till more traffic. He then exits, so I have to cut thru 4 lanes almost crashing into the median exiting as well (I don't get many of these races, so I wanted to keep going ) Finally, we're at a stoplight, I tell him nice car, he returns the comment. Light turns green. Once we weave around the cars in front of us, we both punch it (prolly doing 30 this time). It was a joke, I crushed him, he turned off before he could catch up. Still a cool guy tho. He races that car likes it's sposed to be raced. (part of the story I left out, I recognized the dude the minute I see him. He owns a fancy Mexican food restaurant here in Dallas, and I've seen that car parked up there many times, tho I've never actually met him before)

Nice kills bro! Way to represent. BTW, I'm suprised that you even got a chance to punch it at all on 75...all of our highways suck now...always traffic, traffic, and more traffic. Be careful man, I'd hate to see you or that gorgeous Z get hurt.

Great Kill. I don't like the ricer stunts you pulled but I'm sure it's not an everyday thing.

Yea man thats pretty messed up...The way you desrcibed the sory was like a ricer trying to race a mustang man...

Not kool dude

Find them at night when theres no one around or just go trolling at 1 AM on friday/saturday nights..Thats what I do..

TROLLING= going on your favorite freeway after 1 AM on fri/sat night and driving 10 mph under the speed limit...

People leaving their car club meets/friends or just the sheer amount of people leaving the night life scene will see your vehicle a 1/4 mile away and speed up to race you..

The best part is that theres hardly any traffic...

I know your blood got pumpin to race the Lambo ( even though they only trapp like 116-118) it's still a Lambo and you wanted to run em..

I probally would ave done the same thing...

JUST BE CAREFUL MAN...YOU SAID YOU ALMOST WRECKED..

Actually the Murcielago traps about 121, but that is not amatch for a 127 mph trapping car. A Z06 would kill a Murcielago.

Becareful out there

Becareful out there

I've seen a Murceilago trap 126 before and I've seen a stock ZO6 trap 120 before. Both very good drivers, just different track conditions. Yes, most of the time a ZO6 SHOULD out trap a Murci in the quarter, but don't forget, that car is built to run top end speeds. After the quarter mile, the Murci will catch the Z and pass it eventually.

why???Dose the merci have some magic button that adds 100 more HP at 120 mph...

rwhp...weight...and gearing will tell you how fast a car pulls up top....

But i do agree that a merci can trapp higher than 121 mph...

If a C6Z06 can indeed trap 127 ( wich it can) but only in ideal circumstances with the best drivers...

Then lets find the best circumstances and best driver for the Merci as well...

With the awd launch im pretty sure they can pull some killer times..Problem is there arent that many of them and the guys driving them probally dont care much about the drag strip....

lambo is the epitimy of success....

In all fainess i beleave the gallardo has hit a few low 120 trapp speeds..

So id assume the Merci can get mid 120's

Well the Murcielago does do over 200mph, so maybe the gearing is just insanely-good at high speeds?

Um, not! If anything, it is between 120-160 where the Z06 will walk away from the Murcielago.

I test drove a Gallardo last week (and it will be my next car), and I have a hard time believing it can outrun a C5 Z06.

Lol, I know you've had some badass cars and owning an exotic is nice, I'd like to own one in the future. However it's going to be funny when someone post's on here, I beat a lambo!! And you cone back with "hey that was me" Haha im j/k keep us posted and get us pix.

To the op...nice run, everyone says you pulled a ricer move etc, but I bet 95% of the people on here would have done the same to run a Lambo and not just mentioned that part in their story
