Interesting night!
Interesting night! It had been a while since I go out cruising around, but since my car's been up and running, I decided to put the top down and take the TA out for a spin and a bite to eat... I didn't know so much could happen in one hour. Don't bother reading if you wanted something quick.

*sigh* Miami... Well...
Checkers: So I head to the local Checkers since there are no speed bumps and I could eat outside. There is an Aston Martin DB9 leaving as I get in that gives me a nice WOT in neutral or something. I mention that because it will come into play later.
When I park, I get a bunch of odd looks from what looked like 10 Civics or something. I wondered whether I should go talk to them, but as I begin listening to them talk, everyone is talking only Spanish and saying "pinga" about 30 times per minute. Not to be judgmental (I'm 100% CUBAN), but the last straw was when a red 350Z drove in and some dude starting screaming at him in Spanish, "PEEL OUT," like fifty times. If police showed up, I didn't even want to be seen with them. I ate by myself and drove off...

Black Corvette: A black C6 passes me a block or two by the Checkers... He doesn't rev and neither do I, but he's going much faster. I see the Vette far ahead in the distance coming to a stop along with an old truck behind him... As I start passing both of them, they had both come to a complete stop, the Vette driver scrambling out of his car. As I drive past, I look right in front of the Vette to see if I saw an animal or something that might have made them stop, but the road is completely clean, and there are no signs of an accident. With the top down I hear screaming while ahead of them so I look back.
In my rear view mirror, I see that somehow he pulled the driver out of the truck and body slammed him... They begin wrestling and beating the **** out of each other in the middle of this residential street with cars moving around fast, nowhere near an intersection... I couldn't believe what the hell I was seeing.
I keep moving forward...
Aston Martin I end up running into the same beautiful, black Aston Martin again by total coincidence... He does a little flyby on me, so I don't even bother looking at the dude again... However, later he slows down and I get stuck behind him... He picks a bad lane with someone turning, and I move up the ladder in a good lane going nice and slow. I make my turn and he turns behind me...
At about 40 mph, I'm about to shift to fourth and he guns it next to me loud as ****. Half a car length ahead of me already, I just hit the throttle instead, staying in third planning for a quick blast, noticing he got a damn good jump on me. I peg the boost gauge and hit 7k rpm, and then I put in fourth, ready to hit the gas. Glancing back, I see I had put like 7/8 car lengths already going 100 mph. I take it right back out of fourth and hit the brakes... There's absolutely no point in continuing. He was WOT, yet I did pull him HARD in just one gear... Thought he had more... I love having gone back to 3.42 gears.
Either way, he rolls up to me nice and SLOW and looks at me in shock... I give him a thumbs up and he does the same, shaking his head like, "WTF just happened to me???" Good vibe, not too cocky. I smile and drive off.
Good night fellas. This damn city is always an adventure.

Crazy huh? Typical SFL!!! There's some angry ******* people driving around here! The guy looked to me like a solid 40 year old, dressed nicely too... Not in a bad part of town either!
