I was going home on a Sunday night down Hull St Rd in Chesterfield,Va. I had just come from a friends house. We had been A-Tapping my 98' SS. Anyway,I saw a 77 Trans AM next to a 97 Z28 rolling down the road in front of me.
Now the speed limit is 45MPH the whole stretch to the edge of town,and about four stop lights. I punched it a little and got next to the TA. It didnt take much to get there,and when I got beside him he kicked it and the Camaro backed off. He floored it and so did I and I pulled him BAD! Well he backed off and we keep heading the same direction. Well I noticed a car coming up on them pretty quick and my first thought was a COP! But the car passed by them and came rolling up on me??? From the rear veiw it didnt seem like a cop car and when he got real close I could tell it wasnt a cops car. He got on my a$$ and then got next to me and stayed there,I even slowed down(so he would go around) but he stayed there. Then we caught the last light before the end of town. Keep in mind the speed limit has changed to 55MPH now. I dont know what kind of car it was,something like a Maxima or Contour or something!?!? But the windows were dark and this was at 11;30 at night, so I couldnt see anyone inside.
So we were sitting at the light and he starts reving up at me!! So I was thinking some punk wanted he feeling hurt,but it was a bullsh!t car!why waste my gas,tires,time on some stupid punk with Maxima???? What ever it was I just didnt kick it!!! The light turned green and he jumped out quick and then realized I hadnt kicked it. Then he slowed on down!! I was thinking "what a dick! get the picture, I dont what to race your freaking car". I was going 50 in a 55MPH and he was a car lenght in front and holding. So I realized how slow I was going and said "the hell with that"and bumped it up to 58MPH! Well I went by him as I set the cruise control.
Then out of the blue,here he comes flying by me and as soon as he got passed me, he turns on his blue lights!!!!! UNDERCOVER COP trying to get me to race, so he can bust my a$$!!!!! Well I was PISSED,so I flicked on and off my brightlights at the jacka$$ and he turned the lights off,did a U-Turn and went back to town!!!!
But I guess Im glad he didnt write me up for kicking it next to the TA,even though I really dont think he saw that anyway. He was just a ***** who had to show me what he was. And that is a ***** of a cop in a slow car!!!!

Sorry such a long story, but I wanted to say be selective on who you street race because you never know!!!!!!

yo thats some **** up **** man! i live in chesterfield ,right around hull and courthouse rd. ****** cops around here man,they have nothing but money and time on there hands with no crime.more like arresterfield. i have not been able to keep a license here since i turn 16.funny thing is i dont even do that much in chesterfield.go into richmond and youd have to practicly burn out in frount of a cop to get pulled.to be honest it doesnt surprise me much at all,it just sucks there useing ****** maximas now. i can spot a vic,or some of the undercover malibus or taruses they use sometimes but a import!i would never expect it!iam currently without a license now because i went on to hullstreet at two in the morning between courthouse and wamsley.i had just got my headers on and wanted to test them out so i thought ****,its late, speedlimit is 55,3 lanes wide,no one is on the road,ill go 2 blocks and take her back home.well as soon as i pull out my neighborhood on to hull i see no one but a sliver explorer pass so i pull out and smash it. i get up to about 90 passing the explorer in the process then slow down and get over to make u-turn.i notice it flies up behind me followed several sec. later by a malibu and lumina.i knew then i was fucked so i just pulled over. needless to say i got a reckless. it was a undercover drug task force that was in the area,i just happen to stumable across them.living here makes you HATE cops worst than u should,all they do is bust partys and TRAFFIC. i would love to see one of them work in richmond for a day,most of them would quit. oh well thanks for the heads up and be on the look out as soon as you cross the appomattox river! ****** MAXIAMS! willispeed

 

HWYRIPR. not all cops are dicks,not all cops drive slow cars.the best part of all is cops have master-badge,dont leave home without it. why do some cops come off as dicks?you would have to walk in their shoes to understand. be cool man

It was 10pm on a Friday and I was 16. I was driving my '86 Trans AM out in the middle of BFE on some back road. I was doing about 50 in a 45mph zone. A car turns behind me and gets right on my ***. I'm talking one car length and I was in the middle of nowhere. Kind of like picking a urinal right next to a guy in a row of 50 open ones. So I speed up a bit. The guy stayed right on my ***. Finally, I nailed it. Guess what...it was a cop. That MF'er kept pushing and pushing until I was over the speed limit just so he could ticket me. What an *******.

And mike c., I hear what you're saying. Still to this day I've never met a cool cop. They need to get off the power trip.

 

By no means did I say anything bad about "all cops". Just that one that the other night! Most of the police officers I know are way cool. Never had this happen to me,I feel violated!!!

 

sounds to me like when he flashed his blue's he was letting you know you passed the test, lol, you should realize he was accually being cool, letting you know that he was an undercover, and now his cover's blown

 

everyone on here be careful i just seen and have heard about undercover cops in ford taurus. the one i seen was the last body style with the oval rear window. i seen him flash his light that were blue and pull a guy over. to hwyripr it could have been a contour bc they look about like a taurus. and this does makes since since most police have a contract with ford for their vechicles

I do believe it could have been a white new model Tauras.I have seen a black z28 and a white one,undercover, around Richmond area but nothing like this!!!!!
Maybe he was saying "I passed the test"with the light show.I hadnt looked at it like that but it would have pissed me off(the way he sat next to me) even if it wasnt a policeman.

 

well we all gota be extra careful now that the
po-po got cognito rides . just great, now i gota memorize tarus headlight n contours to know when they are sneaking up

 

LOL.....that's hilarious. That's exactly what I was thinking. Memorizing head and tailights are key for safe, police-free driving (esp. at night). Great.....now to add another model to the list
