Default killed by a supra :(

i tried to video this but it was with my cell phone and i was kinda driving too. but check this out i was dropping my girlfriend off at work so i decide to go see if anyone is out on 39th street didnt expect it cause its 10:00 oclock and its thursday. well to the point. i got on 77th south and these headlights come flying up on me. off an off ramp and i think its a cop. so i slow down to 60 and it changes lanes and does a fly by and i see what it is a solid black new'er'ish supra looked really clean. with all the a pillers and stuff. so i chase. he's going 80-85 and i get up to him and he guns it.... *sigh* i dont chase because i have 4:10's and im dont run from 80-85... thats just stupid. so i slow down and he does too to 60 so from there he thumbs up at me and i get on it. and so does he.... well i held headlight to headlight to up to 85'ish, and then he just starts to walk away. to about a car maybe a little more at 115-120 my (speedo is a bit off) so i pull up next to him after he brakes and i yell out the window "WHATS IN IT?" and he says "T-88" i just gave him a nod and got on my exit.

i started to think about and i held a t-88 turbo supra up to a car. and im pretty much stuck. and with a set of 4:10's in an A4 this doesnt make any sense. i would say he's lying but i could hear his turbo over my cut out? so it had to be big. anyways. i did get killed but im not to disappointed with what on paper should be a 500-600hp car.

im to lazy to proof read this. so forgive typo's and grammer

I haven't had the pleasure of doing a pull with a Supra, the only kid that has one wants to do a 90mph pull...which is kinda wierd....and even though I'm an m6 w/ 4.10's idk if I wanna do that pull...

Happened to me too, except I'm bone stock, and the one I raced had a gt67 I believe. By about 130 he had +- 6 cars on me. Held on kinda good down low, but once I was in 4th, it was game over. I also had t-tops off, and a camera man. I don't have the video

a t88 supra even on pump should be 700+hp my friend has a t76 that make 690 on 93 octane so he had to be in a higher gear or sumthin. but good race neway

you know what would be funny is if you had a turbo'd F-body and you happened to race a Supra on the freeway or something and then he asked you what it had, and you both were running the same turbo lol. okay that's not funny.

But, not a bad loss anywho.

You sure? That seems awfully high for a straight pump gas Supra...

i'd do it.. with nitrous. the lower the rpm, the bigger the punch for me

those supras get crazy with upgraded turbos though.
i'd say find a road that isn't 500+ hp friendly... like with curves or something... but then you'd die.

the moral of the story... don't attempt to win races with supras unless you want to die.

I don't doubt the power at all! I just meant that for Supras the numbers seem awfully high for just 93 octane. I always thought that somewhere between 500 rwhp and 600 rwhp was the limit before there just isn't enough room anymore for all their boost on 93 octane...

... Plenty of 800 rwhp Supras on race gas out there.
