Default SRT8 charger kill

make this one quick because I need to go out. We met at the light and complimented each others cars. I ask him if he wants to run he says hell yeah. Tells me its an automatic and I tell him so is mine, light turns green and we are off, took him off the line pretty easily and had 4 - 5 lenghts on him and he began to pull but stayed abour 2 1/2/ to 3 lenght back by 100 and then I shut her down after anoth 4 seconds of no pull by him. We gave each other the thumbs up and went our ways.

thanks guys, I have also raced a ton of RT's and Daytona and take them by many lenghts. This one gave me a good run. pretty fast for a family sedan with muscle under the hood, but I still don't think it deserves the CHARGER name.

i ran one a few weeks ago..it was some lady. I pulled up to the light next to her and she rolled her eyes at me and gave it a lil rev so when the light changed we both took off and i pulled in front of her off the jump and then once we hit about 60 she quickly turned off the road because she was losing. They are pretty fast i only had her by about half a car.

Yeah, my big issue with them is that they're four-doors. I was kind of disappointed with that.

I hear that Dodge is going to put a hydraulic grill-lowering option on the 300C so it can be used to plow snow in the winter as a way to boost it's sales when the Challenger hits the market.

They weren't "sports cars"... they were just midsized 2-doors with kickass motors. Let's not look back on the 60s/70s with rose-tinted lenses

I have no problem with a four-door sports car... I like "sport sedans." My last car was a 2004 Grand Prix GTP and a friend of mine drives a 2005 Acura TL. Very sporty handling and acceleration with four doors. Not as sexy, but way more practical.

My next DD will be a sports sedan (maybe even a Charger).

I just thought that because, if they were going to "resurrect" a car, I figured it would be somewhat reminiscent of it's heritage as a 2-door muscle car. I guess they just didn't want to sort of take away from the future Challenger market.

No one here is hating in the sports sedan, its that we all here love muscle cars. And in the Detroit Muscle heritage the Charger is royalty. So to just use its name to sell cars and slaping it on a 4 door sports sedan is well...it makes me shake my head at MOPAR
