03 cobra vs C6 Z06 so i was with the wife today heading to the book store to buy her books for school when i spotted a red c6 z06 pulling out of the gas station. So i made for the next road ahead like a bat out of hell and on to the access road he was on to get a better view cause lets face it in grand forks north dakota this is not an every day sight. so he pulls out and starts heading towards the freeway and i follow suit. i caught a red light with him exchanged thumbs up but when the light goes green, nothing would not go for it but i figured he was headed for the free way so i would get him then.
on the free way we had to work through some traffic but finally got to a nice open stretch he kept looking over but wasnt all that interested in racing so i thought. Well i decided to start messin with him in third at about 70 and finally i see him down shift and all of sudden takes off. well i was already in third and anticipating this so he really didnt get much on me maybe his front bumper out a foot of my front bumper, so i nail it and stop his pull and slowly i mean slowly start passing him by the top of third had a quarter a car on him his bumper was at my door, i power shifted 4th and by 130 i had a car on him. my wife said he had barely enough room to get behind me if he were to merge over.
so i slowed down all gitty happy i just beat a c6 z06 and he comes creeping up next to me and gives me a thumbs up, he kinda had a wtf look on his face but declined another race. my wife got a few pics on her phone of the car but no video. so yeah i dont care if it was a bad driver or what ever i am happy cause now i can say i beat a z06. please keep the bs flags to a min cause i dont want to hear it. this is exactly what happend nothing more nothing less.

yeah i didnt think that would happen either, i actually told my wife we were going to get raped but yeah thats what happend i still expect to get beat by z06s but i got lucky.

good kill. Anything can happen on the streets. He's got +20 rwhp and -400 lbs, so I'd relish this one. He's prolly cursing himself calling about an intake/ tune right about now

With no mention of anything about your car in your story anywhere, everyone else here besides me looked at your sig that needs to be updated. Now who's the dumbass?
I never really understood mustang owners coming on here telling kill stories against GM vehicles on a GM based forum. I don't think many guys on here get on the snake forums and post kill stories. Guess we have enough to read about on here
