I dunno about those mods. A 331 with a 150 shot is going to lay down some serious topend unless he has the worst heads ever.
Tha kind of in gear pull often results from a larger turbo. You wont see much over 400 to the wheels from the stock unit. A 331 on a 150 should (but not for sure) lay down 450 or more. Sounds like a 500WHP Evo to me, though obviously thats speculation.
Honorable death in any case. I think a 331 turbo might be one of the best all around street car engines you can get. Lots of the circle track guys love 331s too.

My friend fox body with a 331 AND 100 shot is at least 500bhp. His setup is not extreme but still, he made 11.80@121mph(crappy shifting). I(500bhp) killed him on motor vs motor by only 1.5-2 cars from 40-130. I'm doubting about these few mods on the evo...The evo has a great potential(dont know much about these) but it takes a lot to put a 331 fox to shame with 150shot. Surprising outcome..

That rating refers to the time it takes for a plug to "cool" off after its initial spark. If the plug gets hotter, faster, it will not stay as efficient (Causing Pre-ignition/knock). Cooler plugs foul out easier though because if they cool down fast enough, say after you kill your motor over, excess fuel and soot will go out and stick to the plugs, giving you the black nastiness you find on a plug when a car is running too rich.
That is a VERY, oversimplified thing on plug heat ranges.

You are one ignorant pile my friend. I know more Turbo 4 cylinder mustangs that would completely trash your ls1 on the street or at the track.
Here is one for instance... one of the more famous guys in the business for what he does. Met him (both Jon's) a few times at the NMRA events I run at. NICE people.
And trust me, you want NOTHING to do with my little N/A piece of ****.

Im in a little grudge match myself this weekend, but its more of a freindly one with a fellow LS1 at MIR, and im just lookin for 12s so ur alittle bit above me brosive! This threads going in about 7 diff directions but its cracking me up...I think the EVO and the Mustang should race...since they are both just a couple of 4 bangers that "just happen" to have turbos...how does something "just happen" to have a turbo...did someone sneak one on at the assembly plant? I wish my car happend to have a turbo...those bastard canadians forgot to sneak one on for me when they were building my car...must have been built during hockey season...and Im joking I think those mustangs are pretty cool and one of my buddies has an EVO that flat out rapes my car...I dont know about you guys but Im ready for the T/A and the EVO to effing race again so we can see the results.
