This happened a little over a month ago. I was reading another kill and it reminded me of this one so I decided to share with you guys!!
Sorry about the long write up.... but its actually a decent read!!!

This morning I decided to take the integra out for a little spin up and down a little street here by my house that is nothing short of heavenly!!! Its nearly 2 miles long.... four lanes and a center divider with nothing but open land on both sides. My car has been down for damn near 6 months... so at this point I'm like a crack ***** anticipating taking a hit.

I turn right onto the street.... coast up to 45mph put it in 3rd and gun it. Lag..Lag..Lag..Lag..Lag.........................Oh hhhhhh My Fricken God!!!!!!!!!! If drugs are anything like this I see how people get hooked!!!! As I'm braking and coming down off my nirvanna like experience.... I notice my neighbor in his M5 blasting the opposite direction.

I quickly get to the end of the road, turn around and gun it to try and catch him. Through 1st and 2nd I might as well have been sitting in a burnout box..... get it in 3rd and the car finally decides to make some forward progress. I get about 3/4 of the way and here he comes blasting back the other direction. Mind you this street has a center divider the full distance......so I hafta go all the way to the end and turn around again.

We play musical cars once more and I get the bright idea to sit at the next u-turn and wait. I hear him blasting toward me... and as he comes into full view I see he has a pasenger who is grinning from ear to ear just like I was a few minutes ago when I first got on it. When he gets in the left hand turn lane and makes another U-ey I smile.

I just know that he's gonna stop and we will have the obligatory what do you have under there conversation.... but NO!!! He just drives right by. I pull out to catch him and as soon as I get it in 2nd gear.... his rear end squats and off he goes. My turbo finally spools in 2nd and I'm feathering like crazy trying to keep the car moving forward.

Now he has about 8-10 CLs on me when I shift. 3rd gear is more feathering but I'm starting to reel him in. More traction and now I'm catching him like I do my 4 year old son when we play tag at the park. By mid 4th I was past him and once I had 2-3 CLs on him I let off. He stayed in it for a second and then let off. I guess its not in a bimmer drivers nature to do a fly-by.

We both make another U-ey and I try to coax him into racing again, but no go!!! His passenger is looking over at my car like WTF. At the end of the road he turned right on his way back up to the multi million dollar houses by lance burtons house. I tried to get him to stop but he wouldn't give me the time of day, so I turned right on my way back to the poor side of the neigborhood and my measley little 600,000 dollar house.

 

Wow!!!!! I guess since people know my teg now... an M5 kill is boring!!!

 

no man its ur arrogance and overdone story telling thats boring .....yaaaaaawn

 

I won't hate. Killin an M5 is always nice acheivment especially for a Teg.

That right there is why nobody gives a **** about your story, your way too proud of yourself. That is irrelevant info that you posted just because you want someone to say "wow you have lots of money, I wish I was you", but nobody wants to be an Integra driving homo. Not even that good of a story either.

 

Yep noone cares about your integra vs m5kills on the ls1 forum,big suprise eh?

 

It was a boring read, but nice kill. I suggest a different writing style.

I don't know if it's arrogance or some other issue, but to mention the value of his house in a kill story??? That just tells me something isn't right in the O.P.'s head. In nearly every other kill story I've read where the poster mentions going home, whether it's on this site or other site's, the story just says, "and then I turned left and went home." -- or something similar to that.

 

With a house like that and 4 other cars, you think he would have more class than a "teg".

Good kill, M5's are strong as hell from a roll! I would cliff note the next kill story but good job.
