Pullied Lightning vs M6 GTO, 1/8th mile both street tires *VIDEO* A guy from SC came down to atlanta to run my GTO. Mods on lighting at 6lb pulley, all supporting mods. 18" Rims with street tires.
My GTO is dyno tuned, m6, exhaust, pulley, and intake.
This was an 1/8th mile run abouts. We both had traction issues as I am on 19" rims and he was on 18" both with street tires. He got out on me, and I was coming around him hardcore. I was driving the ever loving **** out of the GTO and you can hear the shifting in the video pretty good.
GTO is on right from cameras point of view, lightning was on left.

We both agreed that the lightning was ahead by a headlight at the 1/8th... however my friend with the Camera was standing DEAD on the finish line we agreed on... and if you look at these pictures I captured from the video you will notice it looks like my car is ahead...whether or not I got past him is up in debate on a local forum.
Either way, good runs!
Un edited photos, mind you this was 10 feet or so before the finish line also.... if you do the video frame by frame you will see this. The guy that videoed will post up also confirming he was dead on the finish line.
You do NOT get any closer than this.
Lightning owner stated it went 12.80 @ 106 at Commerce, crappy local track. Ran he ran an 8.3 @ 86 in the 1/8th.

Hey man nice vid Nice car and nice runs. I watched the video a few times and I definetly think you are ahead. That was about as close as it gets but I think you took the win on that one. I do see what your saying about him being ahead by a headlight but since he sits taller then you you cant see the nose of ur car but I think you edged him out
either way good run did you ever do a roll with him and see how that goes?

Sorry i couldnt make it to the race, i was all rapped up with this chick at 3:00 in the morning. That Lightning was loud as hell though. You still won anyway good run.
