ANd I disagree about america's exotic....that title goes the the C6Z
I would argue the Saleen S7 would be the American exotic and the Ford GT.

EDIT: I'd say the Viper and the C6Z are not quite in the exotic class simply because of the prices even though performance wise they're very comparable or better.

The 1992 Viper was the FIRST American exotic...

The C6Z06 is Americas sports car...If there was only the C6Z06 and not 30K base C6's produced a year that look just like it then the C6Z would be an exotic as well...

The FGT was americas exotic but they stopped producing them...

Trust me..The 1500 per year 90K $$$ 600 HP Viper is americas exotic

I agree. The performance value IS the C6Z06. The Viper is a rip-off POS in comparison performance-wise and dollar-wise.

I agree with that statement too, but I would say when the Viper FIRST came out it was an American Exotic but not today. The ZR1 aka King of the Hill was an American Exotic car before that though IMHO.

My stock 93 LT1 would always beat other stock LT1's from other years (m6 or Auto). Plus LT1's are juice ******. They take the spray and ask for more like no other. From a dig I give it to the LT1 but from a roll Viper. (don't really know what the purpose of the first part of the post was except sharing some info)
same here i my 93 definitely gets the edge over maf cars.

No. The Viper is a Caroll Shelby-designed, Chrysler make-a-wish dream for Shelby mustang fame.

The Viper's performance is a dissapointment related to it's looks. Kinda like Kristanna Loken...looks like she'll be everything you imagined until you really try to get into it...and you're so dissapointed.

I predict 5-10 cars in any race.

uh. no. worst. post. ever.

To me if...

-A car cost 80K PLUS
-Hits 190 mph or better
-and has under 2000 produced per year

IT'S AN EXOTIC

When your talking ....

-200 PLUS mph
-200 PLUS thousand a year
-under 1000 produced per year

Is's an SUPER EXOTIC

The C6Z06 has everything it needs to be an exotic other than the build numbers..With 7K plus built per year plus another 30K base C6's built per year..

Well you see C6 Vettes every day..

The Viper or the other hand is a rare sight...

Another bottom of the barral exotic is the Acura NSX...Not up to speed spec wise..But at 90K and under 2K produced per year it's pretty kool every time you see one.

Anyways to get back on subject...Ill finish with this..84-90K is the most expensive American made sports car you can currently buy from
-Chevy
-Dodge
-Ford
-GM
-Chrysler

So if you wanna say that the Viper isnt an bottom of the barral exotic..Hey..My car insurance and credit union said it was but your entitled to your opinion...

But it IS the most EXPENSIVE sports car produced by any of the above American car manufactuers

From 1996-2005 it was the fastest American car you could purchase at a dealership.. ( The C5Z06 could beat the 1992-1995 Vipers)

In 2005 the FGT kicked it's ***

In 2006 The C6Z06 kicked it's ***

But high 11's at low 120's is still nonthing to sneeze at

Not by a long shot. I've never seen a viper that cost over half a Million.

Fixed:

DaimlerChrysler
Ford Motor Company
General Motors Corporation

Dodge is apart of DC and Chevy is apart of GMC. They are not by themselves.

what car those ford have that cost half a million????

I thought the FGT was 150-200 grand and they dont make them anymore???

So the Viper at 90K was the most expensive...

As to the race the vipers gonna kick the LT1's *** on a roll..maybe close in the 1/4 mile though
