Alright...... For the record.....
I am from the same town as both of these guys. I know both of them.

1. Come on chris...imports averaging 300whp? There are less than 20 imports in this town with 300hp to the crank. that's right 20 in a town of 70,000 plus (not counting beefed up subaru wrx's, and 350z's). And how many of them do you actually see around here?

2. for everyone reading this post - I AM A RICER! And i don't average 300whp, chris - I average 145bhp LOL. And I am the average ricer around here. I have a nissan 240sx with a body kit, suspension, rims, and more. Oh did i mention I've been hit twice in the last year? That's right it's wrecked with some parts being held together by duct tape, zip ties, and JB Weld. The car's best 1/4 mile run was a 16.7. But i do also have an explorer and two bikes (honda goldwing and suzuki TL1000).

3. Chris LS1 240 is a beast. There is no question about this. It is one of the most gorgeous setups I have ever seen - hands down.

4. I watched eric run a 13.8 in his LT1 z28 last summer. Saw it with mine own eyes.

5. Chris, I have always known you to be one of the most laid-back people i have ever met. So why are you going apesh*t over nothing? Eric never said anything bad about you. He asked people on here if they knew how to HELP you... and you go off on him for it. You can contradict me all you want, I sat here and watched him post what he did on my computer at my house. HE DID NOTHING WRONG.

6. As far as eric beating a 350z the other night. Not only did I see it, I TAPED IT (a video which will be uploaded soon). How much more proof is needed?

7. eric raced a 2004 nissan 350z. Motorweek tested them stock at 14.8 in a quarter mile. While 14.8 is a slow time for a 350z, they don't run 13.6. Read - http://www.mpt.org/motorweek/reviews/rt2327.shtml

8. As far as Eric talking about beating cars that he can't. I have seen/been involved in races where he beat:
supercharged ford lightning
3 SR20 240sx's
Skyline powered 240sx
a 350z
a 2007 Roush 427r mustang
multiple mustang GT's

9. I have also seen eric get beaten his fair share of times.

Finally chris, i don't understand why you're so heated. you and eric have always been pretty cool and when he tries to help you, you go off on him. I guess it's you prerogative to feel however you want to. But why are making sh*t up?

I've owned 2 lt1s, a gto and currently have a 99 SS and I'd say that your lt1 does not run the times it should be running with the mods you listed. My last lt1 ran 13.0@108 with headers, rockers, mail order tune and tires. Would have been an easy mid 12 second car with gears and a decent launch. When I first bought this car it was 100% bone stock and a I had a guy in one of my classes who happened to own a 04-05 350z and it wasn't even a race! With the right mods/driver/weather lt1s can put out some really good times.

You can't possibly believe that a 350Z only runs high 14s. My bone stock 152k mile Integra ran a 14.97, and a 350Z is SIGNIFICANTLY faster than that. So while the rest of your post was spot on and possibly quite helpful, try to avoid using magazine times as much as possible... especially when they are obviously WAY off

haha i know a 350z is faster than high 14's. i was just getting the point across that a stock 350z (not including the new models) is not gonna run a 13.6

Maybe not that low, but like I said... they've always been *capable* of running 13s.

My new setup will trap in the 120s but most likely in the 12s since Ill be on street tires.

98 is a low mph to run 13.8 unless the 60 is under 2.0

Cars almost done eric. Its no LT1 but it should do. Ill get some actually fast cars to race you instead of racing amatures. Also for those who dont know the story beind this stay out of it.Also ricer/import? If you want to talk sh*t you sould get something faster than that POS Ford.
Us ricers around here average 300 whp running 12.6 on street tires up to a VW that should be done soon with 600-700 AWHP. Dont call people ricers if you dont know what your talking about.

My car personally once I get my new harness will be around 420 whp and wieghts in around 2900 lbs with a full tank. Has a stock bottom end H/C/I LS1 in it. Im the biggest ricer....
racing ameteurs, haha so your a pro, a pro street racer.... you're the real dominic torretto

Something certainly wrong with that lt1. I trapped 13.5@105 with 2.73s in 80 degree weather. And the same mods. And an lt1 with full bolt ons and SC runs 11 all day long. Take a look at this site. Like I said, something wrong with your LT1, hell, no wonder you bought your 350z.

LMAO now your saying he beat Brandon? Doubt it unless it was harrington when his car was cutting out as bad as mine.
3 SRs.... Most SR run better traps on stock setups than eric so thats crap.
Lightning.... maybe the N/A model

Lastly I wouldnt be mad about anything but where was this posted? How many times before have I heard eric talk crap behind my back aka Mustang hitting on it behind me and catching me... That was a race? I never have problems with people except those that lie about something.

One more thing when I talk about imports mostly my group of friends because out side of it Ill agree there isnt much in Bowling Green.

You do race amatures... That 427 runs low 13s stock... If that true then unless the driver sucks you wont beat it...

I think your assumptions are way off my friend. I have an 06, that ran a 13.7 at 102. These cars are very capable of hitting mid -high 13's, considering a capable driver. The new ones, are even more impressive, considering someone just hit a 13.1 at 106.

Its not hard to find videos of people running such times. Next time, I would suggest using such features as google, streetfire or yahoo.

25psi??

I agree...
300/5.7=52.63hp/L
287/3.5=82hp/L <- very impressive
do the math...350Z needs driver mod.

alright dude. i dont have a problem with you and eric getting into it. i consider you both friends and your quarrel isn't going to affect that. but now you're calling me a liar.

so he doesn't beat sr's? do you want jadius's phone number to call and ask, "hey jadius, did eric beat your sr'ed 240? um yess. he did multiple times."

i was in the car last summer on mustang weekend when eric BEAT a S/C lightning. Oh, did i mention i had a camera with me? yes we videotaped that entire night.

and on the roush mustang. the stock 427r runs a 13.5 - more than believable that eric could beat it on the street and, once again, i was witness that he did. as well as several other people. I mean, do you want me to give you their numbers so you can call and ask yourself?

if you believe me, fine. if not, fine. but dont be calling me a liar.

Stev0n.... I've seen a stage 1 roush go 13.4 stock... So the 427r going 13.5 is bs... Stop reading magazines man and go get some real track time watching REAL cars.

no its no bs, the guy who drove the car went 13.5 @ 105, seriously look it up. They have great top end power but w\very little low end. He was running 13.8s all night long and it took him several runs to do 13.5. It is very quick passed 100 though. So he didnt read it in a magazine it came from the track.

13.8 in a 427 mustang not te same motor as a Z06 but same displacement Im sure ford can do a little better than 13.8 or 13.5 plus the trap speed shows the drivers skill. Everyone focuses on ET look at trap if you want to see what a car will do on the street.

Also Jadius? You basing your beating SRs on Jadius.... I like Jadius but is car was a POS and he would admit that. I drove is car and it was horrible.

Stock sr in a 240 usually runs a mid to low 14 stock, not 13's
stock 99 s/c lightening 14.3
Roush 427r bested a 13.5

I know im just an amateur and not a pro like you, but i have never seen a stock sr hit 13,s, But you insist stock it does better than a 13.6. for example someone we knows sr

s13
3 inch exhaust, front mount intercooler, intake(filter), aftermarket blowoff valve, boost controller bested 14.2 from what i remember. The previous owner bested a 13.9

After you got your old sr set up dynoed 255 wheels, you told me then you ran a 14.0.

Im not saying it dont happen, but you tried to bust on me for saying a stock lt1 runs a 13.8 (I never said it). Well if you read the other post people left you apparently they do. But an Sr 240 stock doing better than a 13.6. please.

here is what it takes for an sr to do that

The 427R Roush is not a 427ci motor. Do some research. And just because one person runs a shitty time in a car, doesn't mean that's all the car can run

it is not the same displacement chris, 427 refers to horsepower, it is a supercharged 4.6 liter
