Which slicks to use on public/dusty roads? Can't match AWD cars launch

Run slicks and call it a day...
I run them down here in Panama and they work. I run 28x10x17 Hoosier drag slicks at 20psi on the street with my 21¨rims up front.
I was out launching just about anything and everything. Slicks get eaten up fairly quickly and they suck for daily/rain but they will give you an incredible launch.
Didn't read enough but you're going to need a full drag setup to not break anything. I went with just about every single rear and front suspension piece from BMR and the car has really turned into a monster.
My car is sitting at 630+rwhp and 600+ rwtq and I was hooking in 1st. With my roots I get full torque at 2.5-3k rpm. So you shouldn't have a problem hooking if I could do it with noticeably more power and torque.

To dead hook I have to burn them. Here's a video showing me dead hooking. The car filming is a modded mid 11s 335i. Note he jumped on the 2nd honk.

What suspension are you running on the back of your ta? No reason you shouldn't be hooking on slicks, especially with a turbo, which won't make torque like my maggie.

I don't know what weight distribution yours have, I suspect not 50/50 too, but my has 56% on the front, I suspect this doesn't help with traction.
In the back - Spohn LCAs, LCA relocation brackets, UMI torque arm, WS6 shocks/springs.
You see, problem is not the street itself but our local 60-year old track, which is much more slippery than normal asphalt on the street. That's why I seek for some unusual solutions people don't have to use on US drag strips. 8-second (in 1/4) cars can only do 6.5s in 1/8 when they come here. So I need some extraordinary weight transfer to use the power here I'm thinking about raising the nose maybe another 1-2" for the races...

lol. Here we lose about 1.5-2sec on 1/4 mile when you are RWD. I know my mechanics 140+ trap stang was running 11s and was crossing the 400m mark spinning.
Sometimes there's only so much you can do. You're going to spend and spend money and never going to be where you should. Some factors are out of your control. Make it a street car and call it a day. Forget about the track.
That's my advice.

haha I run at GRW in germany so I feel your pain, On ET streets cooking the hell out of the tires, my best 60 ft is 1.9. So far my car with a baby cam and LT's has gone a best of 13.013. At a real track i'd be doing that almost stock.

everything looks ok for the most part except your shock / spring setup. Thats huge. Your shocks are not made for drag racing at all.
Ditch those, get some hal qa1's all the way a round with 275 front springs and put stockers in the back. Also might wanna pick up a drag bar.
The qa1 setup will allow you to adjust the shock pressure at all four corners and give you ultimate weight transfer which is tractions best friend.
